Other Toy Lines / Terminator (Aliens, Predator, Etc.)... 4" Scale.

Sounds like it's maybe coming...  No pictures yet, but I guess some stuff was previewed this past year at a show.  It is indeed in the Star Wars scale as well.

Veeeerrrrrrrryyyyy interesting.

I'm wanting some resistance fighters and Endoskeletons!!!  An Arnold figure for customs is just gonna be funny as hell too.

TRU's usually good about not leaking stuff early so I'm surprised they have them too.  Maybe trying to beat otehrs to the punch.  Do you recall the price on them there Jared?

I hoped to find some at my nearest WM tonight but no luck.  I would've grabbed a Wookie and R4 if they had either...  Oh well, guess my local WM read the street date because other than ANH VOTC and a Felipern on the pegs, they really had nothing of note...

I'd dig more wookies, that's for sure.

I'm actually not wild about R4's "feature".  Guess I like the turning head more than one laden to a feature, but I'm sure he's a good figure either way...

impressive to say, but I think standing General Greivous (not easy) is probably the only major negative to any of the figures.  None are perfect by any means, but they blow E2's entire run out of the water in my book.  If this is Collection 2's quality this year, then color me impressed.  It appers to be the case too, so I dare say I'm more excited about collecting this year than I have been in ages.  Figures I finally don't feel that I have to "fix" in some way or another...

Looking at Aayla Secura's images, I'm already tossing the extra AS I got on clearance into my fodder bin for something else.  Hell, I even appreciate the AOTC AS even more now because she's cool for that one kicking pose, and I'll just dig having a fairly super poseable one for any dioramas I ever want to use with her in it.

Life's good...  I just now hope they carry this level of quality into the OT and start redoing things.  I'd take me some Classic army builders as nice as that Preview Wookie I know.  Rebels need that kinda quality, and a Death Star Trooper is sorely needing to be that cool too! :)

I prefer to revert to as young and idiotic as I can pull off in most of my posting.  I'm even contemplating overuse of all punctuation keys as well as randomly locking and editing threads wherever I can now.

You can just call me Jesse(e) then.

The Original Trilogy / Re: The Return Of Spaceballs?

Weird, but true it seems, and ya know I think it has a huge potential since more adult-oriented cartoons have become quite popular.  Like Family Guy and other shows like that...  I could see this being a huge hit.

I'm actually anxious about what it may be like...  May give a reason to watch cartoons for me. :)

[rebelscum] Very Nice!!!! :) [/rebelscum]

hehe  :)

Anyway, looking great Muftak...  I'm surprised you took the time out to do the Takkies in the midst of such a project.

The cell's looking great and I think you picked colors that fit the bill all around.  Cloud City had such a distinct array of colors that maybe made it a little bland to look at in the films but you have to work to capture it in playset form...

I think you should consider extending it to be a larger playset though.  Not that what you've done isn't great, but just thinking you could even do more to wow us.

Will you include tupper wear bins for 3PO parts in the prison? :)   And do I detect a slide-out bed/bench too in the prison as well?

My only other suggestion, since Hasbro's CCP is so nice, is a small landing platform for the Cloud Car...  A vinty one would look nice.  If you really wanted to go ape**** with it you could make one for the Falcon instead...  :)  Eh, just a thought.

I really want more wookies now...  They've been spotted at a 2nd WM in my area now so maybe I can nab R4 too this week...

I'm sorta hurting financially right now, but there's stuff I want...  It's killing me that I have a 4 month pounding to the wallet from November to February.  :(

Well, obviously I am incredibly sad right now...  I'm disappointed in the overall performance of the STeelers the last two games.

Roethlisberger's gonna take a lot of the heat, and that isn't fair considering our pass coverage was non-existant tonight (Brady had his pick of downfield throws it seemed), and a lot of the plays were botched at times by receivers...  Of course Plaxico's already whining about not getting enough throws to suit him and leaving the team.   ::)  Ward was playing hurt, so I give him credit, and he's always a class act too after the game.

The Pats played the exact same way they did  in October, they just made it connect and we didn't make our end of things work...  Oh well, "any given sunday" as they say.

Lots of little things killed us, and the Turnovers obviously.  I'm disappointed, but now I just root for Philly instead I guess...  Go Eagles.  I still love the Steelers and I'll be back to supporting them next year.  Hopefully we'll return with an improved "Big Ben" who's got more solid experience, and I'm hoping Bettis returns...  Again a solid guy and class act who I'd love to watch play a little while longer, though he's concerned about his health after football I'm sure.

Welp, Go Eagles...  :)

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Celebration 3 Figure: Talking Darth Vader
« on: January 23, 2005, 05:23 AM »
I liked Sacul for what he was...  To me he's a nice random Rebel Pilot who happens to look like Lucas.  That's ok, I guess.

I didn't go but BigDumbWookie (Adam) was real super kick ass cool and helped me get a set of Saculs, which is just friggin' great.  I've never forgotten that!  (Thanks again Adam!)

The figure didn't make me drool though, and I don't think I would have cared if I hadn't been a completist so much...  Then again, it's a Rebel Pilot and I dig those...  I dig having a Lucas figure in the collection too.

The Vader I actually am underwhelmed by...  Not angry or upset, just indifferent.  This isn't the type of thing I care about.  I dig having James Earl Jones actually record the lines and all...  He's a class act all the way.  I'll get one happily enough.  If I wasn't going though, I think I wouldn't even be bothering to track it down at this point.

Shinguards pop right off Chewie.  I'd even say they're loose on him and can easily fall off actually, but that's ok.  they're tight enough on mine that they don't fall off when I pose the Wookie.

Congratulations...  I'd be proud as well.  I think we shall remember this always.

I know this is a topic I won't forget any time soon.  I'm already forwarding the concept alone ot my buddy's IM so he gets it at work on Monday.  I'm sure this is gonna make some kick ass office discussion.

What if, as theyf all, you can gain further height advantages by climbing upon the broken bodies you've slain in the early onslaught.  One could theoretically use this to their advantage and make the fight easier...  maybe not winnable, but easier.

Just a thought...  Now I'm picturing Stormtripper atop a heap of crumpled 5-year olds fighting off more of them climbing the heap to get at him.
