He looks to be painted quite differently from the chase figure (http://www.yakface.com/TGuide2004/ActionFigures/Kubrick/series7/anakin2/lf.html): gray hair, grayer boots and tunic.

True, he's closer in color to the Kenner figure than the chase was... but he's still just a repaint. I like NEW new figures for these, not new repaints - somehow it's easier to justify the $200 when it's an all-new figure. Paying $200 for a repaint is... not as fun. :-\
