"I'm fascinated by rap and hip hop."

-- Senator John Kerry

You don't honestly think that J-Kwon or whatever his name is qualifies as either do you?

Fair enough.  I doubt it's more than an interesting thing to ponder though - I didn't notice anything in the film that made me think she'd kept either one of them.  I believe I specifically remember her not keeping the first sword...

I"m tellin' you man - she didn't keep mementos.  They were secondary and of no importance.

The only thing she took with her other than her own sword for any sentimental reason would be her daughter.

Other than that anything she took along (like the pussywagon) was for functional use only.  Her motives weren't possession-based, not even a little bit.

Were any of these songs any more meaningful than "Tipsy"?

Nope, they're pretty much all complete and total crap.

I thought Kill Bill one sucked, and had very low expectations for volume two. I went to see it on opening night with a bunch of friends at the best theater (which is always half the experience in itself) and must admit that volume 2 is a far better movie than the first. It also has the character development and dialog that in retrospect makes Volume 1 "good".

My only big beef is that this WASN'T released as one long movie, edited a little differently. Seeing this movie made me realize how many parts KB1 is missing, and what a shame it is that Tarantino thought the American public couldn't stomach the whole thing. I know I would have much rather seen this in a theater all at once  (maybe with intermission a la' Dances with Wolves).

Overall, the movie itself gets a thumbs up from me....and I can't wait to see if he'll do a big special edition DVD where the whole thing is edited together the way it should be.

It had nothing to do with Tarentino - and everything to do with the studio.  They wouldn't allow it out as one film to do length and they wouldn't allow it with all the gore due to the fact that movies with any rating worse than R do crap at the box office.

In theory - the two films should be edited together - because it is only one movie - in a directors cut version with everything QT wanted for release on DVD eventually.  I'm holding out my purchasing until then.

People who liked one KB more than the other should really say "I liked the ending more than the beginning."

I'd recommend not trying to read too much into the lyrics of music like this.

It's not even written in the English language - if you can read it at all you're doing pretty well IMO.

You're the boss - but after thorough discussion on J-Kwon, I'd planned on adding some information about the Ying Yang Twins and their smash hit "salt shaker"

The disturbing trend that is the death of popular music has taken another header.

If you can read this all the way through - congratulate yourself on your incredible will power and stamina.

I give you:

Girl you super thick so I'm thinkin that's koo

Her eyes got big when she glanced at my jewels
Expression on her face like she ain't got a clue
And she told me she don't run with a crew
You know how I do but I guess why I gotta do

Lesser of two evils - I'll vote Kerry.

He's not everything I'd want in a leader - but he's a lot closer to it than Georgie.

I'm not at all a fan of Marlon Wayans.

Even after his riveting performance in Requiem for a Dream?

Or maybe that was Keenan-Ivory, or SW-1, or Damon...  I can never keep my Waynes brothers straight.

Skip prom and drive to Kentucy to see Snapcase, Sick of it All, and Shai Hulud.

Just got back from Nasville's first ever home playoff game, and I have absolutely no voice left! Don't know how it looked on TV, but the crowd has NEVER been that loud in any of the games I've ever been to at any hockey game. Crowd really got behind the Preds, usually the Wings bring out a pretty loyal fan base here, but that wasn't the case tonight at all. Bring on Tuesday, we're on a roll right now!

I caught the first goal and part of the later portion of the game - the crowd was definitely going nuts.

V, clearly I missed somthing.

Kevin

I did a google search for the landspeeder that was sold on ebay motors about a year ago - hotlinked someone else's image of it to this thread - and apparently the site is set up to prevent hotlinking by showing you an image of something that is very much not what I intended...

Whoops.
