If there is anyone still looking for the ROTJ Wave and a C-3PO, you can kill too birds with one stone. EE has Wave 3 Revision 1 in stock. Case break down is as follows:

Boba Fett x2
R2 x1
Chewy x1
Stormie x1
Yoda x1
C-3PO x1
Obi x1

Funny thing is I ordered this case, but Hasbro/EE cancelled it. EE has now apparently shipped this case to me, but I don't remember it having a C-3PO in this case assortment. Maybe Hasbro realized they shortpacked him in Wave 2.5 and are now shipping him in later revision assortments?

Vader's saber sure looks pertty.

I also received my mini Vader and Display case a few days ago, Man I love these mini's! For those of us that can't afford the big boys these are a wonderful alternative.

Yeah, I also missed out on the Jedi Display case. They are sold out everywhere. I was very lucky to find a place that had one last one here plasmainfusion.com (Great service, btw) It seems Epay is the only option.

I still need an extra one for the exclusive mini's.

I also just got a cancellation notice for Wave 11. I was lucky enough to get my Wave 11.5 case last week though. Thanks to Hasblow I now have to go out and scavenge the OTC wastelands to find a Greedo,Snowtrooper,Jawa's.

I am now caught up for the year for basic figures in one fell swoop! Minus Wave 11 which is still on back order. Great timing, no need to look for short packed VOTC Chewy/R2 anymore!.

Suncoast video stores carries these Maquettes. Saw plenty of Yoda's at all the Suncoast I visited. Can't believe how small the box is though. It would be nice to find these at retail instead of ordering online for them.

My brother hooked me up with some downloaded bootlegs of the DVD's this past weekend. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed/mentioned this but, they fixed Captain Piett's "rank error on the wrong side" scene on the bridge of the Executor. His rank insignia is now on the correct left breast side, instead of the right. If you look closely you can see the CG "erase and paste" work.

The Original Trilogy / OT DVD: Who will have Freebies/Promo's w/purchase?

Has anyone heard of any retail outlets offering freebies and or promotional items with purchase of the upcoming OT DVD?

I usually buy my DVD's at Best Buy and I know they offered a cheapy Yoda Button for the AOTC DVD release when it came out, but hey it was free.

As far as my knowledge TRU will have a pretty good deal going on with a $10 gift certificate with purchase of OT DVD. As most of us are going to buy the DVD's anyways, that would be a free VOTC of your choice.(That's if they ever stocked any VOTC to begin with
