if you are referring to the q&a that i was supposed to have had with the hasbro people at toy fair, then it didn't happen. i never went. blame it all on me.

if you are referring to a different event, then i'm not sure... but what the hell, blame it on me too.

There weren't really any official Q&A's at Hasbro...  Just whatever the people attending could get out of the reps on hand, however the reps on hand aren't always the most knowledgeable sources either generally.  Sometimes they are, sometimes not, and it usually just depends on who the companies send.

I'm half expecting Adam Pawlus and GH.com to come up with SOMETHING extra to their coverage this, or the following week.

That may not pan out though, as Hasbro seemed to show what was what for the year.  I'm hoping for some surprises, and an answer on whether the VOTC figures see some kind of reshipping schedule on the standard line's cards at some point.

Hasbro will be flat out silly not to do so.

I'm thinking that more product will show up at the Hasbro Tarde show in March, like last year.  However, does anyone know if that show is taking place?  The thing is, all the OTC stuff will have to be on the shelves by Sept. 21 when the DVDs hit, or Hasbro will have blown it.  I'm sure we haven't seen all of the 4th Quarter releases.

Yeah, unfortunately our "man on the scene" didn't quite materialize due to some last minute complications which weren't really Dave's fault at all...  But as far as a Q & A goes, Hasbro didn't have one, nor did they really seem to answer too many questions for other sites like RS or GH it seems.  I saw little to no answers on most of the collecting communities current questions mentioned anywhere following Toy Fair...

I haven't heard if Hasbro will be having a separate Star Wars-only show at a later date like they did last year, but if they do, then maybe we'll learn a little more at that time.  Otherwise, everyone's just going to have to patiently await any new news as it slowly trickles out...

You're able to write snailmail as well, or there are phone #'s, but unless you know the # of someone with clout (IE: you're buds with the old decision makers), calling's not adviseable.

Writing never has hurt though, and replies aren't out of the question.  Just make sure you're eloquent and polite.  Professionalism is key in business.  Whether you get a reply back or not's of no relevance.

And Hasbro does read the message boards.  They always have, as it's a resource to them, so make sure you are vocal about what you like and dislike, and why you like o dislike things.  You have a voice that can be heard.  Just not a say in any final decisions, haha.

Too bad sometimes, given some of the really innovative ideas I hear around the various forums I visit like here at Jedidefender.com, Galactichunter.com, and Scum's forums.
