Has everyone on the net gone STUPID today?

First, this turd of a wretched PS job gets posted on AICN, and now its trickling around to places like Galactic Hunter. Some fool emailed the story to me today telling me how awesome it looks. I mean, please.

Don't people realize that reporting things like this make them look bad?

That's funny Scott, that post on July 18th.  I'd guess that would pretty much confirm that this isn't official? ;)  Hopefully we'll start seeing some of the real deal stuff here before too long, maybe a teaser trailer in November?

It's nice to see, but is it cool?  The cape looks a little forced to me.

Horrible.

Yeah, forced is an understament. I get what they were going for with the cloak but it doesn't work. The thing also stinks of them trying to push the "orange glow" branding. It's unbalanced, the colors clash, and the whole idea was done better with the TPM teaser.

Yuck.

Official poster bites.  Bites hard.  The fan based one is much better and I've seen a version that has storm/clonetroopers on either side of Anakin as well.  A much, much nicer piece of work.  Forced is a good description of this, nice try, but no.

That poster is cool, but not as cool as I wanted. :(
