Is that Reikan or Leia?

It's like one of the pictures where you can see one of two things depending on the angle.

Sadly, all of Chazz Palminteri's scenes in The Empire Strikes Back were left on the cutting room floor.

Found this picture over at RS. I wonder how many are still sitting in Wise's garage?

I don't think any.  I believe he said in the forum thread he was bringing them all and selling them out for $10 each.  I'm pretty sure I heard that they sold out but I'm not 100% sure if that was just an allotment for the day or the whole run.  But for $10, I almost bought one.  But didn't.

And there-in lies the key.  :)

Yes.  That bust should never have had that type of production run in the first place.  It's a cool enough idea, but it's not really that exciting.  Besides, it doesn't fit with my slimmed down GG collection.

I think I have a Tarkin bust...  literally, that's all I own from GG though.

JD needs to sponsor an ICMG bust.  I'd buy 3.

Only if he has a sound-chip that is voiced by Scott saying, "Suck it".  Otherwise I don't see how it works.

You're probably looking at something like $50K.

If you're going with professional everything I'm sure it's quite expensive.  If you know a sculptor willing to do that aspect of it, and someone capable of polystone casting, and someone capable of decorating them...  I'm sure you could get some for less.

To have it professionally done though (and that's not even counting licensing, obviously), I think Bill's estimate is even pretty conservative.

aaaaactually..

see these?

They're 7 inch resin statues of characters from a webcomic I read called Shortpacked....it's about a toystore, and has lots of toy collecting humor...you should check it out....

but aside from that....The author of the comic submited the 2d artwork and Patch Together did the sculpt and final production.  They do it on a small batch....he just set a minimum of orders and votes on the Patch Together site he had to get before pulling the trigger and ordering them.  They were all presold before the work ever began on production, and he offered them for...I think under 40 bucks.

So if you could just get the licensing from Lucasfilm....possibly even for free?, you could possibly have a winner here.
This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

So Wise makes so much money off his site that he can convince GG to give him an exclusive? I wonder how that deal came off. His stupid little shop can't make that much money can it?

Since PW tied it to Official Pix, he could probably write the whole thing off as a business/advertising expense.  :P
