Well of the Souls / Re: Indy 4 Toys!
« on: July 23, 2007, 12:36 PM »
Was this confirmed, or just speculation?  Really hoping for 1/6th scale myself.  I haven't gotten any PF stuff, mostly due to the price, but Indy might just be the exception.

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: RAH Darth Maul

Looks very nice, but so does the SS version.

Good month for me...got birthday money in pocket and only have Boussh on the way.  No 3 3/4" wave 4 so far, so I am finally replenishing my $$. ;D

I plan on getting one and am excited about it, but am a little mystified by why they chose to go with Bespin Luke at this time.  After ANH Leia and ANH Obi-Wan, I figured that (with this being the 30th anniversary and all), we would get another character from ANH next.  Ah well, as long as he turns out well it really dosn't matter.  I will be happy to have him.

Still waiting on mine to ship, site still says "order placed", though I received my 3-5 day notice :(

Well of the Souls / 12 inch sideshow indy
« on: July 22, 2007, 06:21 PM »
I'd happily buy a sideshow indy, at least it would fit in with the Star Wars line.

Apparently the rumors are true!  At least according to the
LA Times...

I only picked up two, though I have seen plenty of them.  I made the two I got into a trooper Luke and Han using the heads from the comic packs.  I like the figure a lot, but I have a ton of stormies already.

23
I picked up two of them to go with the two I managed to find from the Clone Wars line.  It is still one of my favorite figures.  I don't really army build too much, but I wanted to round out my "squad".  I plan on picking up the various colors, other than the Sergeant (green), since I already have the Saga version.

I am happy that Indy is finally getting some attention, collectible-wise.  I have all of the Disney 3 3/4" figures and they are ok, but Hasbro could do far better.  I also have a pretty good custom 12" Indy and some of the vintage stuff as well.

There is talk on the Sideshow Freaks forums about the possibilty of Sideshow revealing that they got the license for Indy at Comic Con.  Apparently they have dropped some pretty heavy hints about it.  I would absolutley love a Sideshow 12" Indy!  Superexcited about Hasbro's 3 3/4" line too and. heck, even the LEGOs have me excited though I am not a big LEGO collector but that mini-fig is too cool!

Other Toy Lines / Re: No love for Galactica?

...possibly Hasbro?  They did allude to 3 3/4" BSG figures in one of their Q&As a while back.

They did mention that.  I hope Toy Fair 2007 gives us a glimpse.  Here's hoping it is Classis Galactica too.

Found the quote from the Q&A:

Since Hasbro is doing some of the SCI-FI Channel's Battlestar Galactica ships as Titaniums, will you be doing any action figures from the new series or the old TV series? Would they be in the same 3 3/4-inch scale as Star Wars figures if you did? (SWC, 9/22/06)

Yes, we do have plans and they are in the 3-3/4" scale. The first one up this Fall is the current Cylon. Look for that on shelves in Dec. As for 2007, there are more plans for both the new and old shows but you'll have to stay tuned.

I really hope that they weren't talking about more Titanium figures as it appears that they have cancelled that line.  A regular, good old, 3 3/4" line of BSG figures (Classic and current) would be "the bomb"!

Well, the Pegasus and Classic Raider look pretty darn nice!  Still searching for the Classic Viper.  Also worked a trade to get the Joyride Viper...should be here in a couple of days, really looking forward to that one.

I read on a BSG site somewhere the other day that Joyride no longer has the license for figures/etc.  and that another company had picked it up...possibly Hasbro?  They did allude to 3 3/4" BSG figures in one of their Q&As a while back.

Yes, there was just the new series Galactica in the Ultra line

Just read on Rebelscum that there will be a Titamium Classic Series Cylon Raider as well a Battlestar Pegasus!  I am assuming the Pegasus is from the new series as they haven't gotten around to a classic Galactica yet.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Bespin Luke?!!?
« on: November 27, 2006, 07:55 PM »
I also thought I read somewhere that he was rumored for the next VOTC/VTSC line.  He would be a great addition to the line.

I really liked the Saga version and even bought the OTC re-paint, but it is true that he has seen his day and needs a worthy update.

I kind of liken the Saga/OTC Luke to the much maligned Comm-Tech Cantina Han Solo.  It was an awesome figure for it's day, ground breaking in some ways, but pales in comparison to the VOTC Han.  Here's hoping we get a VOTC Bespin Luke that is just as awesome as that figure!

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Target Exclusive Imperial Shuttle
« on: November 27, 2006, 07:47 PM »
I spotted 16 shuttles on the shelves at one Target today!  Too bad I shelled out for it when it was on KBToys.com, for the price you really can't go wrong.  It's a great ship.
