Managed to preorder one just now. 🤞
Thanks for the updates and link Jeff!

Preordered. Thanks, Jeff.
Hopefully this preorder doesn't get cancelled like the ever-elusive-exclusive Jabba's Palace. >:(

Pre-ordered mine as well. It's a good time to be a SW collector.

For convenience maybe, but this is a new face on a figure we've already bought, we just had a movie launch with half a dozen 3.75" figures, and there are rumors that they're going to let that scale die next year. So...

Thankfully that rumor was quashed at the Hasbro Q&A at NYCC over the weekend.

The 3.75 dying rumor? I didn't get a chance to see the panel. What did they say?
-
Oh that's good... what was the official word?

That's good news, since I just started going balls out with the ST.

I love how the person asking the questions calls out the fan alarmist site spreading said rumor.

Yup, and Hasbro rep's subsequent eyeroll tells you everything you need to know.

Straight from the horse's mouth... that's good. I'll stop worrying about it then, although I still hope that they increase the number of characters being made.

Thanks for the link. Ordered. Love the free delivery on a dollar amount well below their normal threshold.

Oh, but he’s put out a denial.
-
He's been in denial about a great many things.
-
“I didn’t start the rumor, I just spread the rumor” is a pretty weak defense. They also stole their “official press photos” from another site. That guy sucks in so many ways it’s hard to keep track of anymore.

So while the comments section were open for this denial I asked if he only wanted credit for killing the 5POA line.
I got this as a response via email:
5POA is not OK. The line sucks. But those are just opinions.
Regardless, we have no power to kill a toy line. I am indifferent towards it. What is your issue?
I went back to the comments section to respond but by then the comments were deleted and disabled.

Mine's shipped and should be delivered today!

Mine is in motion. I ordered two because I have problems.
-
Mine arrive Monday!

I'm so glad that Walmart shipped this in a container that's about 2 cm too small. :-\

Picked my Luke’s up today and am quite pleased.
The one thing nobody is talking about though, and a major advancement in quality imho, is the separate sculpt hair they’re doing now. People really are missing this as a subtle but major update to figures to add depth, lessen paint apps and bleeding, and really make a much more detailed figure to boot.
One figure I got has a sort of lazy eye but the other was perfect.

So is then a new head sculpt and not the previous one with the new face paint tech?

I got my two in the mail this week...and WM just tossed them in a plastic mailer with no padding or anything, so both cards were destroyed and bubbles cracked open. Generally I wouldn’t care too much, because I’m an opener, but I like to keep a carded set of the OT figures (which is why I ordered two). The figure itself looks great, just bummed the cards were so jacked.

Def a new headsculpt Man. It may be reused from the 3-pack figure(s) but I didn’t have them handy to compare. It’s not the previous sculpt though, for that specific figure. Has separate hair so definitely new.
How they can get this so right and that Dagobah Luke go so far off the rails is kind of funny.

Got mine from Walmart last night. The headsculpt looks different than any of the Lukes in the 3-pack.

Cool to hear that it’s a new head sculpt. But hard to pay $13 for a 3rd try at this figure, especially when the TBS version is good enough
That Dagobah Luke is an abomination and should never be re-released. That 3 pack is a definite pass

Walmart decided to ship mine in a small bag. This thing looks like it was stored in attic below a pile of shoes for twenty years. The card is completely trashed.

It’s cool they did a new head for this. I’m glad because it came out great, but it Stormie or Xwing Luke heads had fit then cool too. That Dagobah Luke looks really bad now though, from anything I’ve seen so far anyway.
I had my Ceremony Lukes sent to a store in the area and everything arrived in a box relatively fine. I had some card curling but that seems kind of common on a lot of modern cards.
