How about Gragra? He's this alien creature from EP1 who was selling those animals on Mos Espa. It's where Jar Jar and Sebulba run into each other. That would be a figure I would like to purchase.

Well, I gotta say it's a tie between Bea Arthur's character from the Holiday Special, and Harvey Korman's Julia Child impression, myself. And I am very happy to say that I NEVER, EVER want to see these two immortalized in pvc.

Aside from the Holiday Special, which I think should be off limits for this thread (or you could name just about every character in the thing other than Zutton), I'm going for just about any gungan on the high council sitting by Boss Nass or other minor Ep 1 characters like Republic Cruiser Captain.

Agreed, we should stick to the movies. There are way too many EU characters that didn't deserve to be created in the first place let alone be merchandised in ANY way, shape, or form.
That said, I vote for Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru... crispy style. Not a lot of play value there aside from the obvious bendy scratch & sniph.

That's an easy enough custom. Buy a couple of clearance Amanaman's, and paint the skeletons black.

How true. You throw in likeness rights, and possibly the inability to find the actresses (does anyone really know where to find these women?), and it seems like a hopeless cause. And throw on top of that the unsavory nickname they had, and I think we definitely won't be seeing the Tonnika sisters.

I doubt we'll see the Leia figure from the medical frigate either.

I actually think Luke and Leia from the Medical Frigate will be made eventually. There are only so many new Luke and Leia's they can do, and these two would be nice choices. Give Luke a nifty hand/arm with an open up panel, people would buy it. ;D

Luke & Leia from the Medical Frigate would make a cool screen scene if you ask me. The bed, the window frame, maybe a new, light-up 2-1B to go with them. I can see it happening.

We have too many craptastic Luke figures, I'll agree. But as my comrade Spuffy (Hi Spuffy!) points out, there are still plenty of Luke figures than can be offered. And as long as retailers insist on main characters in their assortments, we'll just have to live with them.
Personally I'd rather see Hasbro reissue decent figures, but there are plenty of POTF2 era sculpts that still need the POTJ treatment. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a steady stream of new Luke figures from now 'til 2018. I want never-before-done characters as well. But I think there's a balance that can and should be achieved.
Heck, if Hasbro can offer Bacta Tank Luke, a Medical Frigate version is probably not far behind. (Even another Tatooine Luke WITH PONCHO, though it'd be the last one I'D ever want to see.)

Sorry, since there are so many collectors who want figures of characters who were on screen for 2 seconds I'll want my EU figures.

I didn't vote for MacQuarrie stormie, but I wouldn't mind seeing some more of those...Although it would almost have to have half of the production of a regular figure...
