Saga Collection '06 / Re: TSC Recent Acquisitions
« on: January 26, 2007, 03:23 PM »
Found some of the new titaniums this late morning at Target.  The store had 1 AT-TE, no red interceptor, and multiples of the others.  The one that was most prevalent on the pegs was the Dewback w/Stormtrooper (there were 5 of them).

Hi Deanna, these are some very cool freehand drawings.  Naked C3-P0 and Jar Jar are cute (can't say that about Jar Jar in the movie).  I like darth maul and vanity fair a lot.  Keep them coming!

Apoc, your collection is very cool as with the other collections I've looked at so far.  I like your display cases and all those clones!!!  I took a few quickies of my star wars room and posted it up on the collections area.  Most of my stuff is carded, so probably not as interesting and cool as the others I've seen.  Enjoy!

Collections / King_Maul's Collection
« on: January 25, 2007, 08:49 PM »
First off, I am really impressed with some of the collections in this thread.  Maybe the way I should say it is, I'm impressed with all the collections I've seen so far in this section.  The display of the loose collections are very cool and awesome, and I feel a little lacking in artistic expression after seeing some of these pics as most of my figures are carded.

Here are some pics of my carded collection.  I was a straight carded collector until ROTS.  I have some other stuff in another room, so I'll get some pics taken after I reorganize a little :).  Upon entering the room, the pictures are taken from left to right.

Welcome from the Dutch-side of the planet....

So how big is you're collection of ROTS?

Hope you enjoy it here is I do.... :P

Hey there Comm. Apoc - Haha, it's big enough, and I don't want it to get any bigger. ;)  ROTS is when I began collecting multiples of the figures I liked.  Not only that, but I began collecting Unleashed, Titaniums, Vehicles, ML, etc...  It's all good though!

I'm glad you've made it over here too, King. I've seen you knocking around RS and it's nice to know people expand their horizons.
Hey Darth_Anton, it's great to see a familiar member on this board.  Cheers, King

By the way, where in SoCal are you?  I'm up in Santa Clarita, and we've got a pretty good SoCal contingent covering the rest of the Southland as well, and we even have get-togethers every few months if you're interested.  So if you're up for some local trading and schmoozing, stop by the SoCal Finds thread.
Thanks Matt.  I reside in Monterey Park, and it's really cool that you guys and gals do get togethers once in a while.  Depending on timing, I'd be interested.  I'll check out the SoCal Finds thread.  I'm not sure where exactly it's located, but I'll find it.

Yeah, I just don't understand these people that replace figures.  Anyways, I wanted to say that I saw 2 of these BPs this afternoon at Target next to 2 Dagobah BPs.  So it looks like these BPs are starting to be put out at different stores.

I've been mainly finding my titaniums at my local Targets and WMs here in Southern California mostly because those stores are most accessible to me.  I think I may be limiting success because I've found out that stores like Fry's Electronics and Sears Essentials besides the more obvious stores also carry titaniums.  At Fry's Electronics, I saw remnants of the dirty snowspeeder wave, and at Sears Essentials, they had 2 black command gunships and 2 blue naboo patrol fighters.  huh!

I've been hitting TRUs quite a bit these past few days looking for the newest titaniums (dewback wave) since that's where they've been reportly found, but have come up dry.

This is my first post, and I just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone on this site as a new registered member.  I've been collecting Star Wars action figures since Phantom Menace.  I've expanded beyond figures to vehicles and other stuff during ROTS (probably a mistake wallet wise).  However, this hobby takes me away from the stresses of work and daily life.  I've read that this site is more "adult" oriented which is welcomed by me especially with some of the bickering and useless posting that sometimes goes on in other sites.

May the Force Be With You, King
