Metal gear solid collectors edition #2 has just been released here in HK last week. As claimed by the seller, both SP was with ratio of 1/96.
Herewith the standard 6 characters and there ratio listed at the box:
Old Snake octocamo facemask: 25%
Solidus snake: 20.8%
Liquid Ocelot: 12.5%
Liquid snake: 16.6%
Iroquois Pliskin: 8.3%
PMC soldier: 16.6%
Paint app of this MGS#2 was much better than the last EVA release. IMP

Most of the kubrick collectors are now either directly pre-order from shop or purchase from the internet. (yahoo auction of HK). So, you won't be seeing much from toy shops here

Sorry for the late response as I got a fever and has been stay in bed for the whole weekend & Sunday... 
DSJ: congrats of getting the Zam, we are all ready for S10.
For everyone's interest, referring to one of the local magazine here in HK, it is believe Medicom has really mess up with all the secret version and very little volume of Zam were picked with MC distributed to HK. As a result, collector (including me) has to paid extra $ to ship Zam all the way from Japan. No wonder why $ of Zam had shoot sky high....

« on: July 18, 2008, 03:14 AM »About this Zam Wessel chase, I know we're not getting another spare head with the alternate alien face. But does anyone know if the alien face is painted on the back of the figure's head? like the Rocky Kubricks have the busted up faces on the back sides of the head.
Going to pickup my Zam tonight but already confirmed from the seller that there ain't any alien face paint on the back sides of the head...

I have a bad feeling that the case ratios for Series 9 are going to be as screwy as Series 8.
Guess it does turn out to be as same ratio as S8, with Zam ratio no longer at 1:96.....

Just a quick question, did you only get 1 Yellow Clone in your case or did you get two? Want to make sure early reports of 2:48 Clone Commanders is verified...
Also, don't forget the green clones... And we are getting a red clone in the next 5-pack...
Got this as a set of 8pcs, but as told by the seller, yellow clone ratio do appears as 2:48.
Oh yeh, how can I forget the green clone:P and thanks for the heads up.

To what I've learned from the dealer/seller here in HK, the earlier ratio of 1:96 2:48 doesn't seems to complies with S8 and agreed that chases are also hard to find in Japan. (Rare to find the chase even in Japan Yahoo Auction..... )
