Just cracked this thing open.  I’m glad to own it, but the color and weathering is pretty bland and disappointing. 

It feels really light in color and lacking in weathering compared to the promo photos.  The pieces aren’t consistent either.  The Dias is what I expected it all to look like, but the ground is nearly clean and is much lighter in color than everything else.  There's dark paint effects on the underside of the arch that just aren't there...  The back wall and main arch are somewhere between the two. It just doesn’t look like a uniform piece when it’s assembled and it doesn’t display nearly as well as the photos would have led me to believe for the price.  Maybe they just lit the hell out of their photos, but it just doesn't quite live up to the expectations I had in terms of deco.

I suppose I’m a little underwhelmed and I’m definitely not keeping the second one I ordered.

Got mine as well. Bib Fortuna is pretty freaking excellent, and I'm happy to have the Bib/Boba throne. I also really like all the accessories, and the grill is a step up from the one in my display (minus the lights that I'll need to wire in and the metallic paint I'll need to airbrush). I was considering keeping this as Boba Fett's palace, but now I'm considering selling the archways and backdrop and just keeping the figure and accessories. I can swap the BOBF figures into my display for photos, but I don't think I need to keep playset...or maybe I'll give it my son.

The irony was I was just assuming it would go with BOBF stuff so when I unpacked everything after the move I left space there.  This one was a little bit of a challenge to make it all fit.  But now I have some breathing room in the Mando / BOBF spot I guess...

Nice display. Bib does look lonely. I'm keeping my second for when Hasbro does release enough figures. I guess i have more optimism than brain cells.

Plenty of Bib Fortuna's landing on eBay now.  Most are around $100.  I'm wondering how the market for those is going to develop?  I'd like to get a second so that I can open one and keep the other carded.

How are the paint apps on the playset? Ive seen a few reviews where they said the walls did not look as good as people had hoped.

Maybe they spent to much on the paint apps for Boba's old county buffet table?

I tried to put the base from the melty Jabba in this set but it doesn't fit...way too big.

In this case I don't mind.  I didn't back the Haslab Sail Barge and even though I once held the black series set in my hand, I passed on it.  It's been 14 years since the melty Jabba has been released...time for a decent upgrade.
