2023 TVC Wave 6 (New TVC Wave 32)

I'm not sure what wave this Luke is in, so I'm giving him his own thread for now until we get clarification where he belongs.

Pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET.   I am guessing there must be a TBOBF Grogu with Yoda-style backpack coming soon or this figure makes zero sense...

Man, this figure feels really plain and light on accessories for $17.

Word on the street is this Luke will also be in a deluxe box with Grogu and backpack. Preorder at your own peril!

100% chance that happens.  Hasbro is so predictable that it's sad. 

For $17 just pack him with the dumb backpack and re-released Grogu and call it a damn day.

I'm wondering how long before this shows up as a new ROTJ Jedi Knight Luke even though it's only been a couple of years since the last one.

The slow rollout of these new waves is a little frustrating.  But I also get the sense that we might see more of this wave revealed this coming weekend at Star Wars Celebration in London.

The figure looks reasonably good.  But I think everyone's cynicism about the future re-use of this figure is pretty well justified.

The head sculpt is completely wrong.  If you’re going to reuse the body, at least fix his hair.

I’m halfway expecting that to be fixed in the deluxe pack… as a cash-grab way to sell both to people who collect variants or realize later that the second one is nicer.

The Grand Inquisitor looks pretty true to his appearance in the OWK series.  I'm sure that some 3D printer is already working on a replacement head that's more true to his appearance in REBELS.  I've seen some Black Series versions that look pretty amazing.

The Inquisitor really stands out for me.

The Grand Inquisitor looks bang on to the source material. Really couldn’t ask for more on Hasbro’s part with this guy. I do of course wish LFL would have made his OWK appearance more accurate to the Rebels look, but that’s another matter entirely. I too will be very interested to see what kinds of alternative head sculpts the customizing community comes up with. As is I’m down for two of him for now, and may get a third to swap out heads eventually.
