Information:

In most cases you will find that the figures below are priced a little less then recently completed ebaY auctions. I am not trying to profit from selling these just “break even” on these expensive collectibles and aid a serious collector in obtaining some very hard to find pieces at fair prices.

All of these Kubricks are complete and are in "unplayed with" collectors condition. They have been displayed in my collection cabinet since opening them. Please see my signature for a link to pictures of my collection.

Payment – (option 1) Money order or cashiers check.

(option 2) if you want the item faster via Paypal buyer pays the 4.5% Paypal fee and must have a confirmed address and pay via instant transfer or e-check. I am in the middle of an ugly chargeback dispute and refuse to do that again.

Shipping and handling –

Domestic - $3.85 USPS Priority Mail for basc figures + $1.35 insurance for every $50 insured.

International - Actual international insured shipping. PM me your address and I will get a quote.

All basic figures will be mailed with their flattened box in a bubble mailer. Boxed sets will be mailed with their box protected inside a box.

PM's - will be responded to within 24 hours.

JD Sports Forum! / Phoenix Suns (seeking input)

All,

My family went to Tucson to see the Suns play an inter squad game last night.  For those interested click on this.  Most shots taken with a Canon 350D / Sigma 300mm lens / F5.6 / ISO1600 from the fourth row.

I am new to the art of photography so any comments or feedback is welcomed.

Please advise which two or three shots look the best to you and why?  I am trying to decide which shot or shots to enlarge.

JediDefender.com (imo) has the best thread talking about Star Wars Kubricks hands down on the internet.  I know in the past JediMac posted all of the series figures with chases and pictures. 

Can someone post an updated version in the other collectibles thread,  lock the thread, and make it a sticky as a reference point?

Same with other Medicom offerings? 

I am trying to find images of the new chase Vader and an image of the 1st and 2nd Vinyl Fetts.  Time consuming to say the least.

Please don't bash me with see what a little searching can do etc.  This is a feedback thread and something like this would benefit all Star Wars Medicom / Kubrick Collectors that come across this site.

Other Collectibles / Code 3 Movie Poster Sculptures

Who here is as jazzed about these sculpted mini posters as I am?  I just forked over a pretty penny for the CIII exclusive poster and cant wait for the next three to be released.

I am planning to place these behind my vintage figures in my collectors case and because of their size these are going to look awesome there.

Can anyone share any specifics on the poster with the landspeeder that was on display at CIII? 

It is about time for us to talk about these great collectibles at JD.

I wanted to take a moment to give props to the new Jedidefender.com staff members.  I always noticed that the front page was a bit lacking with breaking news. 

I do realize we have much more important things in life besides collecting, but days would go by without any updates.  That has been remedied and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the effort of the staff here, it is appreciated.

I have especiall enjoyed the Image Database Updates.  This makes me really want to open up my figures, which I believe I will in the near future.

Revenge of the Sith / ROTS Figure Sales (or price hikes)!

For those interested to know. I went to my local Target and pursuaded the supervisor to give me a price adjustment even though I got the $1 each figure on 4/2.

I was polite and shared my point of view that the coupon and an adjustment are two separate issues.  After checking with a manager her refunded me about $25.00. So all the figures I purchased at Target came to $3.99 + tax.

I hope some of you do the same to save some $.

This news that the death toll continues to rise is absolutely horrific.  Being a father of two boys 12 & 8, I cannot fathom having to loose them in this way.

My prayers are with the families that have lost loved ones in this event.

For me this puts collecting back into perspective.  A nice hobby that I am fortunate to even have the money to spend on.

I did not share my thoughts so I will do so now.

This topic started under the Chrome Jango and Fett GG Bust Thread about the SWS availability of this item.  After scrolling through the typical, I got one / I did not useless replies the dialogue got interesting.  It is merely my viewpoint that if someone ordered more than one bust for a friend, gift, to use as trade bait or merely keep extra, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that in any situation as this is a collectible.

This type of collectible is different than the toys that you can buy at retail.  I have two boys and know of others that actually buy Star Wars Toys at retail.  My rule of thumb is to leave the last of something if I have it alreadty.  That is a bit easier since I am not currently collection modern figures and do not plan on colleting the ROTS Line.  I don't know of young kids who collect these busts and Gentle Giant is not marketing them as such.  I think it is important to separate retail toy versus collectible for this discussion.

To buy something that is still shipping to a retail to immediately turn around and sell on ebaY is not something that I practice.  However, I have at different points in time decided to scale down my collection and sold pieces like SA Clone(s), Ephant Mon(s) and SAGA Silver Figures on ebaY as well as some of my vintage collection pieces.

I do not know about you, but when I check my PM I do not get offers from people trying to sell me a white beard Jorg Sacul, Kubrick Chases, Action Fleet Ships etc. at what they paid.  What they paid for these pieces is a non issue, the pertinent question is what am I willing to pay.

I have practiced purchasing "rare" retail pieces for friends and have been the recepient of the same practice.

Please don't bash my opinion on the subject, rather post what your opinion is on the subject and what you think about what is going on over in that thread at RS.
