Consider it done.  Damn, finally something you want that won't cost a huge amount to ship (or break).  Yippee. ;D

I was just looking over some photos again of the upcoming Marvel Legends/Classics etc. over at Julius Marx's page at AFTimes.  For those of you still collecting Marvel, which of the figures/waves are you looking forward to the most?  Are you planning on buying all of them, or just a few?  I have read now that the Iceman figure was just a mock-up, so hopefully there will be some improvements made to it, he was always one of my favorite X-Men, and it would be nice to put him with the rest of the team.  Otherwise, so many of the figures look great...but if there are any that I buy, it would probably be Juggernaut, Iceman, Storm, Phoenix, and possibly Brown Wolvie and Apocalypse.  The regular release Doc Ock is kind of tempting too though, looks pretty well done to me.

Most of the single packs (probably not movie Punisher) and definitely the Spiderman box set.  Still up in the air about the FF set.  Can't warrant the purchase for Sue, a bratty kid and a stupid ass robot.

I also heard rumors of a potential third box set.  If true, I'm hoping for an Avengers set with all new characters - Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Wonderman and maybe Zemo, Ultron or Grim Reaper as villians.

Of the next 3 Waves, Wave VII is my favorite, I've been reading some Old Avengers Comics (1982-1984) and I'm really digging Vision right now and I've always liked Hawkeye

Wave VIII would be my favorite if the Cap was a resculpt, the first one is alright, not really into Ultimates at all...they should have done something different...

That Boxset sounds cool Mikey...maybe...

vs

Thor, Cap (resculpt), Wasp (regular Size), Giant Man and Iron Man (old old school armor) vs Loki

As for who I am getting...

Wave VI
Phoenix (green/yellow)
Wolverine (Brown/Yellow)
Juggernaut

Wave VII
Hawkeye
Apocalypse (Maybe)
Iron Man (red/silver)
Vision (Chase version too)

Wave VIII
Doctor Octopus
Captain America (Ultimate)
Storm
Ice Man

The rest of the stuff does nothing for me really

Stealing from Scott and modifying:

Wave VI
Phoenix - both
Wolverine (Brown/Yellow)
Juggernaut

Wave VII
Hawkeye
Apocalypse
Vision - both

Wave VIII
Doctor Octopus - would like to see pics to compare to movie version
Storm
Ice Man

Chase figures are subjective.  I really want a red skull, but just have not had the luck.  I can live without unmasked wolvie, but if I can't get a skull, I may dump the chase figures altogether.

Picked up the Mecha Hulk from series 2 today (they had all expect the Absorbing one).  This is one huge figure with 46 POA.  Can't wait to get home and open this bad boy up.  Nothing beats gigantic Hulk like robots manned by little dudes (expect maybe gigantic monket like robots manned by little dudes)

Found me a Red Skull!!!!!!!!

YEA!!!!!!!!

Went to Toys R Us, and they had about 3 Red Skulls, and tons of the Colossus, Silver Surfer, Sabretooth, and Nick Fury, but I did not see any Blade figures?  Wonder if those are shipping yet?

But yea, I got me a Red Skull!

Surprisingly, I like the second wave of Hulk figures.  I think I'm going to buy them all except for the War Hulk.  I was opposed to the Mecha Hulk until I saw it in person.  Cool figure!
