Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Repair? 6 inch Boba Fett Arm
« on: January 14, 2014, 02:15 PM »
Thanks! :D  I'll work on a fix from home.  I have a feeling due to the demand for the figure that I'd never see him again if I sent back to Hasbro.  That and the fact that I live in Tokyo so the mail is slower... ;)

Star Wars Action Figures / Repair? 6 inch Boba Fett Arm
« on: January 4, 2014, 11:07 PM »
I got my 6 inch black series Boba Fett from Amazon last week and it was so cold that when I moved his stuck left arm it snapped off at the elbow (between the upper arm and ball joint).  The ball joint is still stuck.  I have superglue but thought I'd ask here if there was any advice as to how to fix these types of joints.

Sorry to be so late in my reply but it worked great!  The Acclamator class WOTC ship is so warped that it took several tries but overall it's a great/simple way to fix the bending of the ships.  Thanks!

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases

Picked up two Argyus figures today at my local Wal-Mart!

I almost did (and thanks for the promo code) but I already pre-ordered them from BBTS in the Wave 09 - Case of 12.  It includes all the new ones but the Punishing One and new gunship.

I've been to TRU, WM and Targets all around the RI and southern Mass area and no new Titanium ships for weeks.  In fact the WM's in RI have their Titanium ships on sale for $5 each with no new ones.  They have the New and old Y-wing, IG-2000, Hounds tooth and Z-95 just hanging on the pegs in the discount isle.  At least the WM's in Mass had the new WM exclusive figures.  Lets me know they still get new stuff.  However, they still had the figures from the Imperial Engineer wave on the pegs...

The Legacy Collection / Re: 2008/2009 Evolutions Sets
« on: September 19, 2009, 08:52 PM »
Picked up the Imperial Pilot set in Seekonk Mass today.  Newport RI Wal-Mart hasn't had anything new for over a month!  Thought I missed them at first as the main SW section had only the Commando set but I kept looking and found the whole WM Exclusive section on an end-cap.  $24 is steep but worth it on this one.  Don't like the other sets as much as I've always thought the TIE Pilot with the stripes on the helmet was the coolest thing in SW. :)

Thanks!  I'll try and let you know how it works out!

I move a lot and the plastic bits on my titanium ships (and Starship Battles mini ships) are bent badly.  What do you recommend as a fix to get them back in their proper shape?  I've heard hot (not quite boiling) water is one way. ???

Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS Line: Any You Never Saw/Found?
« on: January 23, 2006, 11:37 PM »
Never saw the Shocktrooper or the last Bly variation in stores (got'em on Ebay though).   Only saw the "final 5" in stores once because I braved the hidious Walmart opening and there they were at 0530.  Everyone was too busy getting the cheap 20" TV/DVD players... ::)

Kubricks / Re: Attack of the Kubricks!

These ROCK!!!  I knew they would make a TIE Pilot and that I'd have to get it but the rest are fantastic too.  How (from what company) do I order the set?

In the past I've just ordered from Ebay (got the DS Gunner for $7 shipped) but I don't know where to get a whole case (or just 1 of each)...

If this holds true, I too hope it's just stupid gold or silver figures, and not things that actually appear in the films.

Gold or silver figures would be a relief if they followed through with this idea.  Could you imagine a really cool figure that could be an army builder ending up as one of these?  Like a Galactic Marine?!?!  Perish the thought!!!    But please go ahead and make a chase Obi-Wan w/ kicking attack that has a little something special.  Those Lava reflection turds from Target would have been perfect!!!!

On the cynical side I think this could be worse than just annoying because it might draw the attention of the dreaded Hotwheels Dorks from the next isle over (I just like jabbing at them when I get the chance  ;)).   I usually see them sniffing around when there is a great figure out.  Example: When the POTF2 R/H Vader came out they (Hotwheels Dorks) were all over the Star Wars isle but not so much before or after.

In the end I just want a fair shot at each figure and multiples of the clone/army builder type figures.    I don't need the grief that would come from Hasbro trying to stir up interest w/ NON-REPACK (again repack gimicy figures like the lava refection would be ok), treasure hunt type figures.

Actually, right now I'm a little worried that I'll miss my chance at the Clone Wars deco Gunship TH Titanium...  That thing is cool!

I've never seen at white TIE w/ a logo and I've seen them 8 or 9 times in stores.  I have 4 Republic Attack Cruisers and only 1 of them has a logo...

I'm glad they are out and I'm totally going to WM tomorrow morning...and Friday morning...and Saturday... but dang I'm starting to get tired of looking.  I was relieved when I found the Hoth wave this weekend and thought I could take a break for a while...
