The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series Rumors
« on: September 20, 2019, 10:28 AM »
I don't know that I need any of the pearlescent variants, but I do like the look of most of the figures. Thank for the link!

I got one of these through Gamestop, too.

Thanks so much for sharing the pics, Quazar! It looks great and I am jealous!

I'd love to grab Chewie and a Stormtrooper if I saw them in the wild. Hopefully that will happen!

I'm definitely looking forward to it, although I going into it with low expectations. I'd like to see it in the theater, if I can drag my son away from all of his extracurricular activities.

I just grabbed the Dewback with Sandtrooper for $40 from Amazon. So go grab one if you still need one!

The price may go lower, but I wasn't willing to risk it. :)

Star Wars Anthology / Re: Solo (SPOILERS)

I really enjoyed it as well, and hoped to see it again this weekend, but it is really being scaled back in theaters with the Incredibles 2 coming out. There are only 3 showings on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.  :(

I really like this bust, but I can't justify dropping that much money on it.

It will be interesting to see how small the edition size will be.

If I can talk the wife into it, I'm going to bow out of watching this and just follow along here. I have too many other good things on the ol' DVR that have to be better than this.

I was hoping for some sort of payout with the big finale, but I'm not surprised they ended it in a cliffhanger. I really wish they had kept the episode to 60 minutes, since the driving and soliloquy seemed to be just fluff to me.

I hope Abraham was spared the bat.

Supposedly they are supposed to be hitting again in February, according to a tweet I read recently. I haven't seen them either.

Now that is too cool!

I guess I technically still collect these mini-busts, but given the price increases, I am much more selective than I used to be.

I love this one, but not nearly enough to drop $120 for it.

I think GG is going to price themselves right out of the market if they keep this up.

Yeah, that episode was pure foreplay. They didn't necessarily wrap up every single plot point, but I would have liked some sort of closure on at least one item.

I recorded the Talking Dead, but I don't think I'll bother watching that now.

I'm a Notre Dame fan, and a fan of the Cubs and the Sox (due to my dad), and I'd love to see Samardzija succeed, but he really needs to be more consistent. I was hoping he'd stay with the Cubs, but I'm glad we didn't drop a ton of cash on him.

I'm hoping the Cubs will be improved this year, and at least be fun/interesting to watch. At this point I think playing .500 ball would be considered a success, despite what the talking heads say.
