Newbie alert! ::) :P :o ;)

Hey Gang,

Long time Star Wars collector, first time on Jedi Defender!  Heard about this site from Jayson over at Yakface and decided to join up.  I've been collecting Star Wars since...well, I saw SW at age 4 and I suppose you could say my collection has been growing ever since.  I have LOTS of trade goodies, so hopefully you;ll see me around the trading forums shortly. 

What else...I live in the Twin Cities, Minnesota and am a relatively new father of Twins!  (my very own Luke and Leia I suppose ;D)  Looking forward to scoping out the site and getting to know some of you.

Congrats on the twins. You aren't the only Minnesota guy who just had twins. Our fearless leader Jeff (who's also a mod on here so you'll see him on here a lot) just had twin boys last year (July?). From what it sounds like, you might be a "west-sider" too?

Yes, 'tis true.  I am a fellow Minnesotan who is also a relatively new father of twins.   :o 

My twins (2 boys) are 7.5 months old, born last summer (July).  We'll have to share "twins war stories" if you can make it out to one of our MN group meetings.     :)

 If you have questions, just let someone know and we'll do our best to point ya in the right direction!

Thanks Vlad!  Wow, more twins.  What's in the MN water supply?  I have 4 co-workers who all either had or are about to have twins within the last year! 

Not sure how the west-side east-side breaks down for this group.  I'm in Golden Valley (still pissed that I missed living in a "New Hope" by just a mile), so that probably puts me in with the W's.   ;D

Niiice.  Congrats on the boys!  Are they identical?  My not-so-little Sam & Adia are just about 5 months, so I'll be looking to you to shoot me any early warnings that I need to watch out for!  Definitely looking forward to sharing war stories & thanks for the welcome!

You'll find lots of your neighbors hanging here I think...  Scott (OCB) is our retired staffer that still hangs around and he too is from that area.  I need more of my local friends here I think, haha.

Oh, you're in my neck of the woods. I live in N Plymouth just off of 169.

The whole eas'side, wes'side thing is just a joke we have. We often curse the other side if one gets all the goodies before the other side does. And, I'm sure you've heard it before, we tend to look after each other for figures too, so be sure to list your wants in our "Who's in need" section of our MN forum.

West Side Rulez!  What are we using for the border?  If this is basically St. Pual vs. Minneapolis, I had better put on my riot gear.  I'm actually doing pretty good on my wants right now - all caught up on Saga except for the WM wave, and I have those on the way via a Rebelscum trader.  I'm looking for the Yavin 4 Battle Pack that has been showing up at WM, probably another TIE Fighter, couple more Appo's maybe.  I'll go check out that section and see if there's anything I can help out with.  Thanks!

Just wanted to welcome you to the boards Justin, I've seen you post at Fwoosh as well (make sure you check out our Other Toys section!) I currently live in Mankato but have also called: New Hope, Robbinsdale, Crystal, Elk River, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Hugo and Maplewood all home at some point in my life.  So, not sure if I'm a West Sider, East Sider or out-of-towner :)
