I'm genuinely curious about what Star Wars titles are going to be available on Disney + when the platform launches.

According to D23, these will be available at launch.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars: A New Hope
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (movie)

Star Wars Rebels
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (series)

Interesting.  I guess that TV rights arrangement has been ironed out in some way.  I know that Netflix still has Solo and The Last Jedi in rotation.  And Rogue One has been on TBS somewhat recently.  That might be one of the titles that is exclusively with one platform.

That still leaves some titles in limbo, like:

Droids (animated series)
Ewoks (animated series)
2 x Ewok TV movies (these originally ran on ABC which is now a Disney owned property)
Clone Wars (micro series)
Star Wars Resistance

....and dare I say, the Holiday Special
"Call up a Hammerhead Corvette.  I have an idea."

Disney said Resistance will head to Disney Plus after the second season is over.  The CW Micro Series is joint owned by LFL and Cartoon Network/WB I believe so that one would be trickier to get on Disney+.

Solo and TLJ will be heading to Disney+ once their Netflix deal is up (2020).  TROS will head to Disney Plus after the home release (late Summer /early Fall 2020).

I read somewhere that TBS/Turner worked out a deal to extend ownership of TV rights in exchange for letting Disney stream the OT/PT.  So OT/PT will not be on Disney Channel/XD but they will be on Disney+.

As for the other old stuff (Droids animated, Ewoks animated, Ewoks movies), Disney has been quiet about those (and the Holiday Special and the unaltered OT cuts as well).

That's both odd and interesting about the microseries.  The 2008 version of Clone Wars also started its run on the Cartoon Network, and the CW theatrical release was in conjunction with Warner Brothers.  But I guess in the newer version LFL must have wholly owned the show.

It wouldn't shock me that Lucas put some language in the deal with Disney that the Holday Special will never see the light of day.  Hell the youtube channel that had the Holiday Special up got hit with a copyright strike.

The Micro Series was produced by Tartakovsky via Cartoon Network Studios. LFL was a partner but CN actually produced the episodes.

The 2008 Clone Wars series was produced by Lucasfilm Animation/LFL Animation Singapore directly and then Cartoon Network bought the rights to air the show (Disney was the other bidder).  That is why when Disney bought Star Wars, the first thing they did was kill CW to hurt Cartoon Network and start work on Rebels to help Disney XD.

Disney+ Publishes List of Everything They Will Have at Launch

Oh man, there are some really old, really obscure things in there that I can't wait to watch.  Stuff I haven't seen or thought about in like 30 years.

I'm going to wait to sign up for the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ combo, but looks like that isn't available until launch date. I already pay for Hulu, so I'm hoping there will be an easy transition there.

Same here, can’t wait. All the animation as well. One movie that I remember really liking as a kid, but I’m afraid maybe wouldn’t hold up, is Flight of the Navigator. I figured Disney would come out swinging, but this is even more than expected. As much as I’m excited for all it has, I’m already thinking about what other things I’m going to have to stop watching ;). Only so many hours in the day.

I don't see anything on that list that I don't already have physical copies of or just don't care to watch.

I'm looking forward to checking out all those old movies they used to show back in the 70s on The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights.  Lots of nostalgia - curled up in front of the fireplace watching random Disney movies after watching football in the afternoon and playing football in the yard.

I'm sure most will be near unwatchable today, but I'm still interested in trying a few out 40 years later.

Fuzzbucket looks nightmarish.  Trying to get that ET money?  I vaguely remember that show.

Having all of clone wars and rebels is probably enough for me beyond Mando and future stuff to justify the thing.  There’s a whoooooooole lotta I don’t care there though.  I can’t say I was in much of a Disney household.  I haven’t seen most of their films (my friends find that weird because they’re huge Disney fans) and I guess we just weren’t exposed much to Disney outside of two vacations.

I don’t use any streaming service at all now, so this is all kind of foreign to me.

Anybody streaming yet?  I've heard a lot of people are having trouble with some shows.

I tried to check out The Mandalorian, but it wasn't letting me.  I had a buddy down that hall watching it during lunch and he screenshotted a pic for me.

So I just clicked the little magnifying glass, found The Black Hole, and started watching that.  I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

I've read reports about Servers not being able to handle the demand.  Typical for the opening of a new internet service.  I hope they get it resolved soon.
