They really did a phenomenal job on this one, I am not surprised at all that it looks like it will fund in 12 hours. They did everything right here, including gauging the fan base for what they would want vehicle-wise.the HISS is the perfect choice. I maybe own 10 GIJoe figures 3.75 scale, and also a HISS tank. Heck, I barely collect Star Wars vehicles but I had to have a HISS tank. They chose correctly.

LED lighting and functional treads jump out as huge details. I mean that lighting looks really good, the cockpit is amazing.

And all that said, I don't do 6 inch stuff so this isn't for me, but I am really impressed with the toy they put forward here.

I haven't collected GI Joe since the 80's, and this campaign has definitely caught my attention.  The details on this HISS are pretty awesome.  And I love how they turned the main body into a kind of troop carrying area!  Something that I was doing with my vintage HISS was taking that turret out and putting figures in there, despite it not being a place that was intended for figures to sit or whatever else.  Maybe lots of other kids did that with their HISS too, and that was the inspiration?

Most of all?  I like seeing the enthusiasm in this campaign.  I can't get behind it because of funds/space/not wanting to get into another line.  But it seems like the marketing and promotion have been pretty spot on for the GI Joe fanbase.

Wow, tier 4 unlocked with like 35 days still to go.   

Just so impressed at how this one was planned and executed by the GI Joe team.  Fun marketing with the Cobra Commander/Destro stuff, excellent leveraging of the HISS driver figure sculpt to come up with multiple pack-in figures.  Kudos to the GI Joe team for the big win here.

People kept saying it has a trailer hitch so they thought it would be something towable. In retrospect, that would have been cooler than another Cobra Commander figure. (Unless it was a Hooded one which apparently they won’t do for some reason now?)

But yeah, this was a smash hit, hopefully it provides a blueprint for other projects going forward.

Okay, so I'm getting more and more tempted to pick up one of these.  Does anyone know if the Tactician figure goes to ALL backers?  Or is it just those people that backed in the first week?
