I've "given up" collecting for a guy... sure, he's 5 years old, and he doesn't mind my occassional SW purchase- especially if he can play with it... but I think we all need to live within our means, whether it's a collection, a habit, a hobby, etc...
Collection is okay... obsession not really.  So, it all depends.  You know you don't want to be 'kissing' someone who is more focused on thinking where they might be able to find the new elusive figure... if you know what I mean... and if you REALLY know what I mean, please get help!

I'm living in the middle of the highway... that would be scary... the satellite image is kind of neat- can't make out if my house is there, but at least it's very GREEN...

Ah, another story from the front... my son took his Galactic Heroes Battle Droid to the zoo with us one time (again 3 something) and lost it there.  He wanted to go find it.  Last time I saw it was near the monkey cages, so we went by them, but there was no way to backtrack the whole zoo.... we didn't find it, so Aidan was crying where's my battle droid?!?!?!?! so, in frustration, I told him I didn't know, the monkeys probably have it... yeah, well, we all have breakdowns... so now, he mentions going to the zoo and getting his battle droid back from the monkeys... "the monkeys have my battle droid"... followed with a big pout...
 

These things take a beating from my son... but I like the "beasts" when they were releasing those, and wish they would do more... I'd love "boga" in the Galactic Heroes line -instead of the regular Playskool one...
I haven't checked recently on them, but are they still putting the magnets in the hands or did they just give up on that- they never worked anyway... well, I could get Luke to hold on to the speeder bike very briefly, but what's the point on that? 
Anyway, it would be nice to get some "real" ships, also, instead of dune buggies or whatever they are trying to pass on us.  Just because our kids are small, doesn't mean they don't know that thing was never in one of the films...
