I was at the sirs website and they have pics of 2 of the 4 figures in the set. Lucas from the opera and his daughter i beleive. I think its actually pretty coolo, cant wait for these figures, seems liek they will be Starwarsshop exclusives. hey mention that it was a flyer from them with the exclusive clone trooper. I didnt get a flyer. There are pics up over there.
-
I saw those pictures over at Rebel Scum. This is very interesting, indeed.
-
Yeah, I saw that last night. There goes the b.s. about how George was not going to let his character become a figure. It looks like it's pretty cool IMO. Even his daughter's action figure looks nice. Not sure what the other 2 figs will be? Lucas as a stormtrooper perhaps and maybe the other daughter?
-
Hmm, interesting. The prototypes look good, but I'll wait until we see "official" pics to criticise/praise them.
-

Probably Zett Jukassa and maybe Lucas' other daughter.
-
I don't think they should re-release Jett Zukasa, but who knows. The other daughter is a good choice.
Gotta love it... STAR WARS IS FOREVER!
Remember all the naysayers saying the line would end in 2006... ::)
:P
-
My guess is also the other daughter and another Zett.
-
These look pretty sweet.
-
For the lazy among us ;), the article is here (http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Starwarsshopcom_2006_Exclusives_95936.asp):
Lookin' really good so far!
BTW, any one else notice how RS is hotlinking a lot of news images lately ... for example, those Lucas pics are on CollectingHQ.com. Not cool. ::) Or have they been doing this for a while and I never noticed until recently?
-
I thought those images were scanned by a member. At least that's what the member said he did.
As for the collection, I give a non-commital - interesting. Cute almost.
-
Yes, the images that are on RS are scanned from a inserted flyer I received from SWShop when I got my Anakin Maquette and not from another site.
-
My apologies ... I was referring to the fact than when you go, for example, to this page (http://www.rebelscum.com/photo.asp?image=http://www.collectinghq.com/im/0006357.jpg) and right-click the image, the address is http://www.collectinghq.com/im/0006357.jpg instead of a Rebelscum address. Initially I thought RS was stealing bandwidth from some other collecting site...
...But when I actually go to CollectingHQ.com (http://www.collectinghq.com), it's "Collecting Headquarters develops website publishing software that enables easy management of complicated websites, specifically targeting news and image based applications." and that RS is listed as one of their affiliate sites (http://www.collectinghq.com/affil.asp). D'oh!
Note to self: fact-check next time before shooting yer mouth off. :-[
-
Looking at it, that Baron Papanoida figure is now must most antipated release of next year. Why? Because it's a never before done sculpt that is not a Jedi, Clone or Imperial. Even the female senator figure is pretty cool. Maybe we'll aslo get the rubenesque Twi'lek from AOTC.
-
Good call Speedermike. To me, I'm excited about these mostly because they are of obscure characters, not of Clones or Jedi. And they look like kickass custom fodder. I could see making a Naboo Queen custom out of the daughter figure.
:P
-
I saw this over the weekend too, kind of a nice surprise. I'll be happy to get a Lucas figure like this, and if they do the rest of his family, that's cool too. I know if I was in charge of a franchise like this, I'd give my kids a cameo/action figure too ;). I'll be curious what the price point is on these, as it sounds like they are SWShop exclusives, but at least they look like all-new figures. I plan on picking them up, especially the George Lucas/Baron Papanoida one.
-
I'm just happy they won't be anything resembling an army builder like the covert ops trooper.
-
My first impression? Kinda boring. :-\
Knowing how hard it is to get SWS.com exclusives makes it easier to handle if this is what we'll be getting. Hell, I like the Holiday Vader more than these.
Of course, it's hard to be fair when I've just got 2 B&W photos to look at.
-
My first impression . . .
Lucas in his study with the action figures of his family.
Door pops open with Rick coming in . . . .
Lucas: throws the figures into a desk drawer, talks with McCallum. Then at the end asks
"You didn't see anything did you Rick?"
"Nope, George, your cool. I did not see you playing with the dolls of you and your family."
Taken from the Space Balls.
Actually, I'm not excited about the figures. I don't have a Jorg Socal, so if I get these great, if not, great.
-
In a way, it doesn't really matter to me if this is Lucas. I'm a huge fan of the guy, and I love his work, but to me, these are ROTS figures, regardless of what they are called.
-
Here's a colored pic for you:
This was taken from the costume exhibit I went a couple weeks ago. Sorry about the lighting. ???
-
I'm game for these figures... Background aliens and the like are always welcomed in my collection if they're quality work. The prequals were filled with so little uninteresting background stuff compared to the OT that stuff like this seems as though the only viable options for obscurity.
Better than Jorg Sacul, that's for damn certain.
-
I've been out of action for a while, so just to chime in on these: cool for the people that want them, but very boring to me. If it means a chance at getting figs like Dorme, then I'm all for it.
-
To bad Lucas' kid did not play Dorme then. I doubt we ever see Dorme especially since they won't make Padmes now.
-
Pretty Neat…

Hahaha! I'll get one or two of these sets.
I'd like to canibalize Papa Lucas for a custom of "The Phantom" from Phantom Of The Opera's Masquerade scene.
Kevin
-
Simply awesome! Thanks for the heads up - count me in for two sets. The Zett kind of to me is a waste, but the others look great.
Baron Papanoida - Very nice, it's a goofy outfit, but it looks like a great figure - great sculpt.
Chi Eekway- Wow, that is extremely cool - her "overcoat" thing is neat. I'd like to see more views of the figure too. Looks like some awesome custom fodder. In case I have the names mixed up, I am referring to the blue girl.
Terr Taneel - I forsee some sort of Naboo Queen customs coming from this - this is a great looking figure.
Overall, one heck of a cool set I think - it will be nice to add in some Coruscant type residents. Really needed some more obscure ones like this, and it fits the bill nicely. Definitely need two (or more) sets.
:P
-
35 dollars?
-
Well, it's an online exclusive. Worth it to me, just to get these figures - they are unlike anything you can buy in the store. A few Amidalas kind of similar to the one chick and I don't think Zett's worth more than a couple bucks (maybe custom fodder though). But to me it's worth it.
:P
-
Thats cool Chewie. I just don't see it worth more than 25.00.
-
"Own George Lucas' Family!"
I thought slavery was abolished?
Kevin
-
While the new figures are neat, why rerelease Zett? I just bought that crappy figure after months of holding off. Argh. >:(
-
While rumours of this set have been building for a while, I wasn't that excited about it. But the carded collector in me likes how it looks. The figures themselves though? Meh.
-
I'm not tremendously excited by these, but it is refreshing to see exclusive figures that are actually all-new sculpts. That's a huge improvement over all of 2005's exclusive product. SWS is probably the best outlet for these particular characters, as well.
Zett makes the price sting quite a bit for me. Bleh.
-
In the end you basically have to pay $10 each for these 4 figures. I don't know whether to get this or not. It's not like I really, really want this. But it will nag at me if I don't get them. Eh, I don't know.
-
I'm actually mildly impressed with the set. After the Sacul crap I was convinced this would be junk but at least it's 3 new figures and they're obscure characters and I could care less whether they're Lucas and family - as long as they were actually IN the movies.
The price tag is a bit much, but it's cheaper (per figure) than the Target 12.99'ers.
-
The figs themselves look really good, especially Chi, who looks like they just shrunk her down right out of the film. The price holds me up right now, though. If I had more cash to spend on figs, I would definitely get it.
-
They forgot one of Katie's chins. :( Stoopid Hasbro. :'(
(http://starwars.com/episode-iii/bts/profile/f20051221/img/p1_5_bg.jpg)
I hope they included hyper blinking action as well, to replicate her performance in the film. That girl can blink 30 times in 15 seconds.
-
MetalJedi - I can see why $35.00 seems high - don't get me wrong, I think the price is too high. But for all new sculpts, the diorama builder and the customizer in me is drooling. I'll turn the Zetts into Anakin fodder for the Temple Slaughter.
:P
-

They forgot Georg Sacul's beer belly, why not forget her extra chin.
-
They're all fat... these figures are their way of escaping that fact... Leave them to dream!
I like Baron Papaparanoid and Chins Eeksway... but the other two aren't worth $4.77, much less $10.
-
I'll definately get one, but will I get a second to open? Tune in next time...
-
Ah, the age old debate... why keep these in the box? Open and enjoy first, and actually "touch" your figures. The philosphy we all lived by as kids - it's what keeps getting new figures fun.
:P
-
But they're so damn pretty in the box. ;)
-
Well not a surprise to get these for anyone, but they do look nice to me... Lots of detail. 4 sorta boring figures we'd not likely have gotten otherwise and the Zett looks different to me than the basic figure... The legs look less posed, I hope that's the case. I like dull figures like this sometimes, and as an exclusive it's cool, the price is a bit much to take but one set won't be death... They'll come to close to $10 per figure though, that sucks no matter how you slice it, but at least they're new (mostly).
-
i really like the packaging and the figures. but the price is wut making me NOT to click Add to Basket. i'll decicde whether to pick one up after X'mas
-
Stupid question, but since they ship in April do they charge the credit card in April or now (sorry, haven't paid attention in the past)? I am still unsure about these. Part of me wants them for nostalgia, part becasue they are minor characters, and part of me says they are a waste. Price is not the factor since if I decide I want them, I'll buy them.
So, can anyone help me with the inital question?
-
Nope. Order Now Pay Later… just remember in April that a charge in coming though :'(
-
Actually, I'm really jazzed about this set! 3 very obscure non-Jedi-non-Clone figures? I'm in. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but as others have pointed out, much less than Target's exclusives.
-
I agree, I'm actually very excited about these. Something totally different, plus two cool looking Coruscant chicks.
:P
-
Man, that's over $8 a figure on top of outlandish shipping charges. Gonna have to think about this one...
-
Man, that's over $8 a figure on top of outlandish shipping charges. Gonna have to think about this one...
Well, unfortunately I think that the $8-10 per figure is going to be the standard for these box sets now when they are on-line exclusives...
That's the way it's been for the EE sets - it's too bad though that there is no "bulk purchase" option for these like the EE sets have offered. :-\
I guess since the basic figures are moving to a $6-7 price point, we shouldn't be surprised at the cost.
With all that said, (even at the price of $40 each with the shipping) I ordered 2. :-[
-
True dat.
I think these will sell out pretty quick as they are open to international orders.
Wait a sec, is everything available worldwide on swshop.com?
-
In all honesty, they could have charged a lot more for this set. Considering they charge about 14.00 for repaints, 3 all new sculpts plus one old figure could have been close to 50.00. I think the price point is right on the money, really. I don't mind paying 8.00-10.00 bucks for an obscure figure that I know would never come out on a card
-
I don't mind paying for it either. These are very unique figures. Guess I will order it over the weekend.
:P
-

:P
We all know you don't mind paying for them Chewie! LOL! :)
-
I ordered it i think its awesome!
-
I ordered a set. I like them as background characters, and Lucas is a cool novelty.
But now that's 3 figures I didn't need to buy in the ROTS line: Obi-Wan, Bail and Zett. I'm tired of the double-dipping and I intend to return Bail and Zett in someone elses' packages. :P My receipts for those are too old to retrun. Let 'em send that junk back to Hasbro so they can choke on it.
-
Seeing the 3 new figures in this set gives me hope that Hasbro will make some more exclusive boxed sets. Imagine a McQuarrie Concept Figure Boxed Set with Vader, Chewie, R2 and a repackaged Concept Stormtrooper. That would be nuts.
-
Yeah I do like seeing NEW stuff sold as exclusives... That's a plus. I'd dig that McQuarrie set a lot myself as I think it's the best way to offer concept figures. The Stormie sold well but I think that's a bit of a fluke honestly. I love the concept stuff but I think Vader and the like would sit on the pegs if it got shipped as heavily as other new figures do.
-
Wait a sec, is everything available worldwide on swshop.com?
From what I've seen, yes. Except poor old Mexico, they don't ship anything there.
-
I think the figures themselves look amazing. Great liknesses and colour paint apps.
The characters are what makes these figures boring.
-

Me, too. Anything McQuarrie and I'm game!!
-
Well, I just ordered one set.
-
I finally caved and bought myself a set.
-
From what I've seen, yes. Except poor old Mexico, they don't ship anything there.
Poor Mexico.... they make all our crap, and then can't even buy any of it.

Not many toys made in Mexico anymore...really what is?
-
Lots of CD and DVD replication.
-
And Mexican babies!
Seriously though, don't want to offend any of our southern neighbors or forum members. One of my best friends is from Mexico. And they have some hot women. :)
[picture removed]
:P
edit - Maybe we should save the pics of beauties in the Hotties thread - Jesse
-
I'm thinking about buying this, since I'd like to have a George Lucas figure in my collection and I missed Zett from the ROTS line.
But the price tag is pretty damn high for four figures, even if they are all-new sculpts.
-
I finally ordered myself two sets of these today. One to open, and another to open.
:P
-
Wow... I am so glad I order two of these. Can't wait to open them!
:P
-
Seeing that pic actually makes me glad I didn't bother with this set - I just doesn't do anything for me.
-
Really? To me these are awesome. I see excellent figures for a Coruscant diorama and great for custom fodder too. The one daughter (not the chubby blue one) could make for an excellent base for a Naboo Queen, and the other daughter has a lot of customizing potential too. I can alreade see the Lucas as a great base for an Imperial Governor custom. And Zett... maybe a couple more Padawan kids. Heck, I might order 2 more of these sets.
:P
-
Does anyone know when they are going to start charging credit cards for these? They said April originally I believe, and it is April now...
I only ordered one of these I allost would have liked two. Like CHEWIE I see some great fodder in there. I just can't justify spending $40 tiwce on three new figures.
-
Seeing that pic actually makes me glad I didn't bother with this set - I just doesn't do anything for me.
Yeah, but it is the Lucas family immortalized in plastic...I caved.
-
I do not know about this set. It just does not tickle my pickle (well not enough). :P
-

Yeah, it is kind of expensive... I guess the thing I like about these so much is their uniqueness... it's not that I'm overly crazy about them being "Lucas Family" figures; I just love the variety.
:P
-
Ugh, I want these, but I don't want to spend the money either. I still have to buy those EE Astromechs as well. Those combined with this set is around $120, something I don't want to spend at the moment.
-

Everytime someone says (or types) ugh, I think Ultimate Galactic Hunt...how fitting.
Back on topic - if you only have the disposable income for one or the other - buy the EE droids - they are pretty cool for repaints.
-
yeah and you can get the EE droids cheaper through toyrocket ;D
-
The George looks good, can't really rave about the rest. That's why I only ordered one set.
-
I actually like the set especially the Twilek girl and Lucas. But yeah, I just want other things more than that this.
-
The George looks good, can't really rave about the rest. That's why I only ordered one set.
If you don't want the chick figures, I'll pay you $10 each for them. :)
:P
-
I didn't know the blue chick was Twi'lek. Nifty. :)
-
Yeah the removable cloak is a nice feature.
Wonder where I'm going to stick my extra Zett... maybe I'll just stick him in the Geonosis Arena.
-

I'd take mine back if it wasn't too late. Maybe I'll return him in another fig's package. >:(

The hard-working Jesse James dropped off some very nice, very large photos at the JD Newsroom this morning. Click on the thumbnail above and go check them out!
-
That's some funky box design from the top view, or are my eyes deceiving me?? I had no idea of the dimensions of the box size.
-
I can't wait for this set. Yeah, Zett's a repeat, but three super obscure characters at once? I love it. I don't even care if they are Lucases. I just want some "new" characters!
-
That's some funky box design from the top view, or are my eyes deceiving me?? I had no idea of the dimensions of the box size.
Sure is, I wonder what the rationale was behind that die cut?
-
I ordered 3 of these sets and I just checked my order. Shipping has been pushed back 'til May.
-
I like this set. I hope we get some more cool exclusives from the shop int he future.
-
Yeah, the 3 new, 1 old works for me if it means getting super obscure stuff. Imagine the McQuarrie Trooper with Concept Vader, Concept Chewie and Concept Luke.
I would go absolutely friggin' nuts if something like that was relased.
-
I'm ok with it too overall but the price is iffy... That's what gets me the most.
Still, obscurity means you don't generally want much more than one of each depending on your collecting habits. So the price is a little easier to swallow because of that... If the set was $30 even though, it'd be much better IMO, and I'd likely kick in for a second one.
Anyways, I'm glad the images are being scoured over by our readers. The packaging on that is pretty spiffy actually, and something different.
-
Not shipping until May? Damn! I'm really looking forward to this set... in fact maybe more than any other figures this year.
Like Speedermike said - Imagine the McQuarrie Trooper with Concept Vader, Concept Chewie and Concept Luke. - yes I'd be excited like hell with that too.
:)
-
Not shipping until May? Damn! I'm really looking forward to this set... in fact maybe more than any other figures this year.
I like it, too, but my credit card can wait. I've really abused it this month. :'(
-
ITS A COOL SET, I AM ALWAYS DONE WITH MORE FIGURES, BUT I WAS UNAWARE OF FAT TWILEKS BROADS.
SHAME THE BLACK STORMTROOPERS WERE NOT SHIPPING EARLIER TO COMBINE IT WITH THIS SET.
I KNOW ITS MEAN, BUT I CANT HELP IT, THE PHOTO OF THE OTHER DAUGHTER IS SO PIG LIKE.
SENATOR FAT FAAT.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL TO REDECO JETT WITH BLASTER WOUNDS......CUSTOM HERE WE COME!
-
"THE PHOTO OF THE OTHER DAUGHTER IS SO PIG LIKE.
SENATOR FAT FAAT."
::)
Maybe you should post a picture of yourself so we can all make judgements about you.
-

Hey I second that. I have several things to say...
-
Wow.
I'm loving your presense here, JACK.
Kevin
-
He has been PM'd, so let's move on. Thanks guys!
-
Mine now says it will ship May 10th.
-
Were these originally $35 prior to shipping, because they're listed at $29.99 now on the website?
-
Were these originally $35 prior to shipping, because they're listed at $29.99 now on the website?
Ahhh yeah, WFT gives? ???
-
What the hell? I checked my order list and yeah, it says $34.99 on it. ::)
Shouldn't they wait until they actually ship them to start marking them down? :P
-
WTF is this....? I sent an inquiry about this.
-
$35 is a little more tolerable than $40.
I still haven't ordered one, however.
-
I got a shipment notification this morning, Sat the sixth.
-
I got a shipment notification this morning, Sat the sixth.
Me too. Says it's scheduled for delivery today. I want my 5 bucks back. :P
-
I got ship confomation as well.
Addendum: Mine just arrived. On a Saturday. :P
-
I received my ship notice today...
but no response to my e-mail request for a price match to the new $29.99 price. ::) >:(
-
I recevied mine today and as I have come to expect with Starwarsshop.com one of boxes of the two I ordered was bent on one side due to the lack of Packaging materials. You think they would be wise now to ship items better then what they are doing now.
As I want the lower price put on my Credit Card. I look on my invoice and it has them listed at $34.99. SWS better give as the price adjustment.
-
Got these guys today ... they're pretty neat. :) I like the 2 blue ones best of course. I'd like to stick them in a senate pod, but her base is much too wide with the plastic cloak. Anyway, good lookin' figs. :)
PS
I'm glad to find the baron's walking stick is the traditional rigid plastic, and not that gummy junk that can't hold its shape. A rather important feature for a walking stick, don't you think? 8)
-
I sent them en e-mail about the price as well, but nothing yet. Mine has not yet shipped.
-
Yeah, I sent them an inquiry on the price. Mine has not shipped thus far so hopefully they will give the better price. ::)
-
I once made a custom Ep1 figure of the character Diva Funquita (played by George Lucas' daughter, Tyger). I used the body from a Gammorrean Guard figure and coupled it with the head of an Aayla figure. It came out real nice. Very good representation, especially the body.
-
Haha! I knew these would move slowly so I was hoping for a price drop....I'll finally go purchase it now... ;)
-
Just got a refund notice.
-
Just got a refund notice.
me too ;D
-
Me three... but the price is now back UP to $34.99. ::)
Congrats to those who got the $5 credit or were able to snatch it up for the $29.99 "sale" price.
-
Well how about that, I checked my email & my Lucas set was shipped today. To top it off, I also received the $5. refund. 8)
-
Have any of you guys who got the $5 refund actually seen it on your card yet. The email I got was talking about who my order was being ready for shipping and as soon as my card get charged they will give me the $5 (hopefully $10) refund but I already got my package the day I sent the email off so my card was already charged. Hopefully I will notice the refund soon.
-
I got an e-mail today saying my set has shipped, and they would be giving me a $5 credit as well. And now the price is back up to $34.99 - silliness.
-
And now the price is back up to $34.99 - silliness.
Yeah, I didn't see that comin'. Bizarre. ???
-
Guess I should have ordered it when it was cheaper. Now I won't order it again for the higher price ::), at least not without complaining. I'll wait for the next sale ;)
-

I ordered 2 of them and got my $10 credit just in time before they pulled it. I got the heads up on yakface and inquired immediatly.
They saw how much money they had to give back and put the kie-bosh on it when they saw too many fans found out.
Refunds usally take 3-5 days to appear, so save their email just in case.
C'mon Lucas give everyone who ordered one their $5 back! They are going to give back to you eventually anyway.
Make them feel like you care about your fans for 1 minute!
-
I got my set in the mail today...
Just got done opening it and it's pretty good. $30 plus shipping is a bit much, but it's exclusive and all that jazz so I guess I understand.
Anyone else notice anything particular about the top of the Baron's cane? :D
-
Anyone else notice anything particular about the top of the Baron's cane? :D
OMG, it's the Death Star! You may very well be the first to notice?! :D
-
Can't take all the credit, forum member darth_schneider sent over this picture tonight...
(http://www.jedidefender.com/news/images/5-06/tn_baronscane.jpg) (http://www.jedidefender.com/image.pl?http://www.jedidefender.com/news/images/5-06/baronscane.jpg)
-
I should learn to read the main page. Anyway, neat little discovery. ;D
-
Way too cool.

The cane is cool, and it's the kind of thing that lets you know there are some fans working, at least in the sculpt area, on these figures... :) That's neat.
The price didn't bother me as much because of these being new figures... I can certainly choke down $30+ on 3 new figures and a repack, all kind of obscure and uninteresting ones too but ones collectors like having, as opposed to $15 repainted Clones or Grievous with snap-on crap.
Those are the exclusives you feel jipped on. I even like the item, just hate the pricing there.
-
My sets were waiting for me when I got home yesterday. The figures are well done and the packaging is pretty unique.
-
I may have mentioned it, but one thing I did notice about the cane is they actually used an appropriately sturdy plastic for it instead of the gummy garbage they've favored for some time. Guess I didn't pay as much attention when I got Sun Fac, but someone mentioned his staff is also rigid. Hope this is a reversal of the cheap-out trend they started with the floppy weapons.
-
I should learn to read the main page. Anyway, neat little discovery. ;D
Front page?

OMG, it's the Death Star! You may very well be the first to have noticed?! :D
Guess someone caught it earlier (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1880385&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&vc=1).

Just got a second email confirming that I was refunded 10.85. It should be seen in 3-5 days.

Congrats! You beat them before they retracted the offer! ;)

I was really looking forward to this set, and eagerly opened mine earlier tonight. Aside from the 25% rehash, it's a very nice product, and Papanoida is my favorite figure of the year.
Not to sound strange, but did any else one look up the skirt if the black robed daughter? She's got some sort of silver space garter on. Odd.

Sadly, yes. It also look like she wearing silver/chrome diapers

I just got min ein the mail and since I'm a MOC collector I'm so glad to see the Death Star can posted on the front. That is pretty neat to hide it in there lik ethat.
Alos, what does everyone think about the shape of the box. I personally think it is a cool departure from the square shaped ones.
-
The box is cool but I'm starting to get buyer's remorse over this set. $40+ is a lot for four "boring" characters.
Anyone else feel the same way?
???
-
Kind of. My saving grace is that I only bought one set (I usually buy two of everything.)

For whatever reason, I love it when they make the boring figures... They're usually NEW figures that haven't been made before and probably are less likely to be made anyway.
Then again, the IMP Dignitary was my favorite as a little kid.

I wonder if they used the real scan techinology for that.
Excuse me now. I need to throw up. :P

I'd hit it.

I like a little more junk in the trunk :P

I like a little junk in the trunk myself...
Anyways, I love these figures. They are very well done and also great custom fodder! I've alrady made a Queen Jamilla out of them. :)
:)
-
My only regret with this set is that for 40 bucks it dosent come wiht a new sculpt of Jett.
I personally think they could have done a better version to begin with, i mean, for G-sake its the creator's son.
Besides that, the other figures are a welcomed addition to those figures that normally would never be made.
-
I think she rode her bike in the mud

Just got an email from the FC stating that I would receive a $5 refund. Pretty classy considering I didn't ask for one!

I just got my THIRD e-mail from them, including the above posted generic notice about the pricing situation. LOL I only ordered ONE set.
I took note of Teneel's shoes, but certainly didn't notice the fancy beaded panty. :D Seems like a lot of detail work to never be seen. Nice touch, though. The fecel overspray however is definitely a WTF moment.... :'(
-
I'm in a holding pattern to pick my set up... They're nice figures, if not all obscure and boring, which is just what the FC needs to be catering to...
Those legs sculpt are a bit funny... And I think generous.
-
You ain't gonna be happy about this one (http://shop.starwars.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=405413), but I am. Just went up and I get my Lucas family for $16. I was going to order the RC figures anyway and lookie at that bonus. I can throw Zett away and only pay $5 and change for the rest of the clan.
-
Thank you for that link. I'm definately getting that.
-

That thing's been ten bucks there for months now. I'm surprised they have any left.
-

I can't believe I paid forty bucks for that thing back in 2006. >:( :'(

Next they'll be giving them away with orders or as Hyperspace membership "gifts" :P
-
I just ordered one for $5. Never got an opener.
-
At least I got mine for the initial markdown price, but it's looking like that was $25 too much. Ouch. :-\
-
My $5 set came in already, popped it open. It's alright.
-
I got mine today, too. $5 is a fair deal, especially since I never saw Zett in stores. The packaging is goofy, but I like it. Nabbed a concept Grievous to go along with it, so I made out pretty nice.
