Customs Community and Group Projects / GOODBYE FOR NOW
« on: May 10, 2006, 03:56 AM »
Hi All

As of now I won't be posting any figures for about 6 months as I'm going back into the Army after 20yrs and only have a few weeks before I go in so I won't have a chance to do anymore figures till I finish my basic training and my IET training.
It has been great seeing all your great custom designs and making new friends and it's also been a wonderful experience so until I return and I shall !take care and keep up with teh great customs.

Your customizing Friend

Hi All

I'm a member on a forum called the fwooshnet.

any way there is a guy called Glorbes and he makes some of the most excellent customs that I've seen. He started doing Marvel Style SW figures and has added he's own unique style to them and I was in awe when I saw them and just had to show them to you all.

Stormtrooper

Darth Vader

Boba Fett

Yoda

« on: April 22, 2006, 08:21 AM »
Hi All

I was at work today and decided to play around with some parts and bits and pieces and came up with these LMK what you think

Assualt Trooper

I've got about 7 VOTC Imp Troopers and decided to see what I could come up with and this is it so far I have a coat for him but that needs some work to at the moment.

Bounty Hunter(No Name Yet) and his TAD(Tactical Assault Droid)

The TAD is a mixture of federation droid, army of darkness, Starship troopers and SW bits and pieces. The Bounty Hunter is ATAT driver, Evolution trooper, OTC figures and bits and pieces.

Star Wars Action Figures / Baron Fel?
« on: April 3, 2006, 04:15 AM »
Hi Guys

I'm looking at doing a Baron Fel figure when he was still with the empire and was wondering on the following.

1. was his jumpsuit grey or black?
2. did he wear the white vest while with the empire.
3. did he have a goatee while with empire.
4. was the webbing white or black again while he was with the empire.
5. was the red stripes red or burgundy.
6. did he have kill markings on his helmet.
7. Did he waer a holster.

sorry for all the question but all the pics I've seen he looks different in and I'm not familiar with SW beyond the 6 movies and there are some great looking figures that can be custom made.

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Printing Death Star wall etc
« on: February 5, 2006, 01:21 AM »
Hi Guys

I'm wanting to make dio's for my SW figures and the first lot I want to do is some Death Star sections so I was wondering what paper do you guys use?

I'm using plain paper (A4 size) to print on and the prints look good and I was thinking of using woodglue, do you guys suggest any other glue to use?

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Back Drops and Bases
« on: November 1, 2005, 06:25 PM »
Hi Guys

As you all know I was a Military Modeller before I even got into the custom figure side of things and saying that I want to start doing my figure in categories.

Category 1- Figures on base/backdrops for better veiwing but still keep the articulation and be able to take them off the bases.

Category 2- Do Actual dioramas as I do with my military models so there like a show piece.

Now on saying this I was wondering is there any sites that have free downloads of backdrops or part sections of backdrops( ie death star corridor).

I know the Yoda I did came with a base and is that standard with all the newer figures and if not can you pick up loose ones from somewhere.

Thanks for the help.
