Yeah, I caught it too - and its online now as well.  I laughed a couple of times too, and I'm really glad we're seeing the Simpsons coming to the big screen.  Hopefully the movie will be great.

For the most part, I am a big cynic of pop culture. Star Wars and the Simpsons (well futurama too) are exceptions. But my daughters are 9 and 6, and a couple of years ago I noticed I had to keep flipping the channel when they would come in the room during the Simpsons (to say nothing of Family guy or American Dad), so I haven't been able to watch for some time.
I wish Disney would get sucked into a vortex, I see a movie a year, and reality shows make my skin crawl, but I will go to the Simpsons Movie with a smile on my face. I'm sure it will disapoint on some levels, but I'm sure I will laugh a few times as well.
Now it's time for a new thread....

There were a lot of good things in the trailer. I hesitate to say genus, but some of the gags looked far and above funnier than some of the fare we've been getting the last few seasons.

So- Anyone live near one of the Kwik-E-Marts?

Sadly, the closest one for me is about an hour away, but a few regular 7-11s around me stocked some Simpsons Movie related fare- Including rebranding their Slurpees Squishees. I was able to snag one of the collectable Squishee cups.

No Kwik-E-Marts up here, but all the Simpsons fare is available.  I snagged both cups with Homer on it and tried the vile blue vanilla squishee.  Blech.

Not sure if anyone heard and/or remembers this, but I saw this house in person before I moved from Vegas.  It was really awesome to see in person especially since it was an "experimental" time in my life.  ;)

Take thy head out of thy ass Name.  When I think experimental - I don't think of men, but hey...whatever floats your boat.   :-*
