Not that they are "new" releases perhaps as the US retail shelves go but the Bucky,Black Widow,Iron Man,Thor (modern) and Old school Capt America are now in some Target stores here in Australia just recent and I thought they were mostly pretty good but the Iron Man was quite lame IMO.

I like IM a lot and am still not really thinking a decent mold of him in 3&3/4" scale has been acheived least in the MU line.

Collect All 92! / Re: Han Solo (Bespin Outfit)
« on: August 30, 2010, 02:42 AM »
I had this version of Han as my only Han back in my childhood toy playing days and I liked him a lot.

I do have the modern version as per the photos and it's an "ok" = sub-par figure for Bespin Han and could do with a re-do for certain.

Also, maybe will get a realistic version of Jocastu Nu's animated version.   ;D

Jocasta Nu in CW style not been made yet but one of both would be good IMO.

Since re-starting collecting in 1996 I've seen many figures I 100% passed on and back then decided to only buy what I liked the look of and not worry about completist ideals.

CW line has some horror figures as does all of the OT and PT based lines and then there's the stand-out figures.

From when CW line came in I've collected the ones I like in conjunction with the regular movie based line cherry picking the ones I like the most,so if the CW line is taken in this direction I'll simply do the same.

Not taking any "side" here though perhaps the term that applies well is 'hard to find' or for the Gen Y net junkies - HTF.

That magazine cover first offered here of Ryan Reynolds I thought it was more Wil Ferrell than Ben Stiller and looks like a lampoon rather than the real thing.

Grew up with the likes of Transformers,Robotech,M.A.S.K.,MOTU,Voltron,Bionic-Six and SpiderMan and have followed the Iron Man - Armoured Adventures in more recent times as well as Wolverine and the X-Men.

Clone Wars of course also being the most followed for me.

If the four Mando's I got from ebay (tunghori) are anything to go by,then there's one Mando with the rocket firing backpack and the other three are not. (I selected Option A,B,C and D to see what each one was like)

Weapons wise they have different blasters also.

If that translates to the actual released BP is yet to be seen.

191
The BP Mando has a long piece of plastic (meant to be a rocket) that snaps into his backpack and then can fire out,the Deluxe Mando has a backpack which has a molded & fixed "rocket"

BP Mando (note the rocketpack is fixed)

And if you look at the single card Mando he has the long snap in firing rocket back back which sits in length wise to the back of the knees which is not the pack the Deluxe Mando has due to it's problematic nature to sitting on a speeder.

192
The 'firing rocket' attachment per the photo would suggest the BP Mando and not the Deluxe set Mando.

Love the Vos figure and look forward to adding him to my collection.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Vintage Pegwarmers

I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro is trying to pressure Dave Filoni to add a scene to the Clone Wars where Anakin has a dream about the future and sees himself as Darth Vader cutting down Jedi - just so Hasbro can justify making an animated version of Vader and then everytime the Clone Wars line reboots, that animated-style Vader will be in the first wave as one of the repacks.

Whilst I do accept the point,I also have to admit I'd love an animated Vader a la CW series...

Five Vaders were sitting on pegs in a K-Mart I visited tonight and Fett is nowhere to be seen anywhere since the first release of the TVC here in Oz.

Am glad to hear that Lucasfilm decided to join the 20th Century and bring their films to blu-ray.

The deleted scenes being optional to see in a version with the total of each film or no deleted scenes option would also be do-able on BD,as is to have the saga on blu-ray will be exciting for me personally.
