Yeah, they nailed Hulk and Spidey 2...I see similar craptacular results for this one

I haven't opened my FF Boxset yet in hopes that Movie Sue is better looking than the Boxset Sue :-\

Yeah, definitely lots of crap.  Not surprised to see things like "The Thing" Hands, since we saw those Hulk ones everywhere when that movie was out (and still now probably, if you look in the right places.  I'm not necessarily jazzed about any of it, but might take a look at the basic figures if they are decent at all....maybe.  I'm holding out on that box set in hopes that Amazon/TRU discounts it for half the price or something :).  Here's hoping.  At least it looks like all the "main" characters will have figures out right at the beginning, instead of just a huge sea of Things or something.  Of course, that could still happen too, depending on how these are packed.  Looks like many of them are action-feature-tastic!

At least we can buy matching feet this time to go with our hands ::)

Don't bet on it!  Apparently Jessica Alba and her manager sent quite the nasty note to Toy Biz complaining about her Sue Storm figure.  She didn't like it at all.  But you can always get the figure of her from the Sin City toy line and customize her into the Invisible Woman.  That one is actually made by a good toy company.

I was wondering if any of you out there who have the two different Captain America figures released in ML could help me out with some advice.  I've been wanting to pick up a Cap figure, and was waiting to see what this recent ML 8 one would look like before I did.  I have some things to order from Amazon, so I was thinking about picking up the newer "ultimate" style one along with that.  However, while out looking for SW and ML8 this weekend, I see both our local Wal-Marts have restocked with repacks, including the original Cap.  Do you feel that one is better than the other?  I like the looks of the Ultimate one (although the original one is nice too), but don't have a big preference either way so I hadn't decided yet.  Also, the ML8 one is $8.99 on Amazon, while the ones at Wal-Mart are going for $6.88.  Is it worth the extra $2 (and a little shipping)?  Do you feel the more recent one is a lot better?  Thanks for any advice you might have.

I have the first Cap, and the joints are loose as hell. I do believe the more recent series have that problem fixed now.

I have a Sandman for trade if anyone wants it. Just LMK, and I'll let you know what I'm looking for.

I saw that but I call B.S.

There is no way 2006 stuff would be known this early, especially with Toy Fair 2005 not even done yet.  Unless they plan on going all out and doing 5 Waves a year...

Not that I don't like some of those figures

Yeah I saw that list as well. I am not buying it, its too early. Just in case though, I will give my opinion on the figures.

Late 2005 - Series 12 - Marvel's "Dark Ages" Series
Origin Capt. America w/ Bucky - I would buy it because I want a Bucky figure, but I don't see them doing a 2pack.
Savage Land Wolverine - I'd pass on this one, really no need
Ultimate Green Goblin - I am not a fan of the Ultimate Universe so I woul dprobbaly pass on this one unless it was amazing
Mole Man - I want this guy, I hope they include one of those little mole guys
Loki - Another one I want, but Jesse Falcon said he wasn't on the agenda
Dark Phoenix (new sculpt & costume) - I can see this as being the re-released chase figure of the wave, not a new sculp though
Hannibal King - WHO?
Mole Man (scary teeth) (variant)
Vampire Hannibal King (variant)

Early 2006 - Series 13 - Marvel's "Renegades" Series
Origin Daredevil - Thats cool, I missed out on the chase yellow DD from the Spider-Man Classics
Kingpin - FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iron Fist - Very cool
Power Man - Again, very cool
Lady Deathstryke - I always thought she was a boring character
Ultimate Punisher - pass, not a fan of the ultimate universe, Punisher has been a peg warmer twice already do we really need another?
Tombstone - very cool, always nice to see a Spidey villian in ML
Shang Chi - I guess he is the odd ball character of the wave, but i would have preferred Moon Knight, Sleep Waler, or Dark Hawk
Unmasked Daredevil (variant)
Shang Chi (different costume) (variant)

and the next 3 Spider-Man Classics Villians will be:
Mysterio - I believe this is confirmed already
Hammerhead - interesting but i don't see kids into this one. I would have preferred either shocker, hydro man, or vulture
Silver Sable - i am cool with this, but she rerally isnt a villian, maybe she will be in a wave but not as the villian

WHAT &%$@ is Toy Biz & Marvel doing? I realize that you can only make so many Wolverine's and Spider-Mans, but I look at that list and want to get my gun and head over to the office of the Jagoffs that come up with these toys.

If they are going to do some fun collections how about some 2 packs of the greatest Hero's vs Villians, or couples from the Comic's

Wolverine vs. Sabretooth
Daredevil vs. Bullseye
Daredevil vs. Electra
Spider-Man vs (Instert bad guys name)
Venom vs. Carnage
Xavier vs. Magneto

Cyclops & Phoenix
Daredevil & Electra
Gambit & Rouge
Scarlet Witch & Vision
Spider-man & MJ
Spider-Man & Gwen Stacey
Invisiable woman & (Insert John's name)

How about an ultimate Chick line

Invisable Woman
Rouge
MJ
Black Cat
Scarlet Witch
Dazzler
Northstar
White Queen

But at least go with main charecters that everyone knows even if they don't read that comic,  not jokers like

Hannibal King
Vampire Hannibal King
Shang Chi
I have been told to go to hell; well at least I will know everyone there!

Mikey

My want list is here.

I'm mostly looking for the Art Asylum Star Trek figures, but I still need anything on the list.

Thanks.
