Celebration IV - Ultimate Group Project / Re: Are we serious or not??
« on: January 14, 2007, 02:43 PM »
...the online game was shut down.

You weren't playing DOD 1.3, were you? CAL shut us down, but TPG picked us up for 6v6 and 3v3 competitive play if you want to check it out.

As for my part in this (and Ryan's post was not offensive at all), I'd also help if given an assignment. I don't know if the newsletter idea was dropped, but frankly, before I stopped receiving them (save for Phruby's Christmas greeting) I was pretty tired of reading them. I attended a few chats about the UGP, but they didn't seem to be very organized at the time. Are those still going on? Eventually, without much to do for the project, I stopped checking this forum as well. Did we vote on a Security force design? Missed that one. I'm still up for transportation if this goes that far, which it quite possibly could, but unless somebody has something in mind for me to do, I'll go back to lurking.

Her character on House MD frustrates me recently. She's looking kind of tired also...as compared to the first and second season.

Anyway...you can see her contact lenses as well.

Didn't you guys know about the secret JD Porn Forum? It's not work-safe, to say the least.

Jesse-

Tonight was the first night I've been home since the 26th, and you're gift, waiting in my foyer, was a most warm welcome, and the perfect reminder as to why I love this community so much. I was never able to find that in stores and not as though I passed it up, later regretting it, but really, I never saw it anywhere. I've had it on my list for quite some time and became discouraged a bit ago, thinking I'd never find one, so you're gift to me is most unexpected and quite a pleasant surprise. Thank you, so so much, for it. I will definitely be partaking in this next year, if it's not too bold to plan so far ahead. This was my first Secret Santa experience, not just online, and I loved giving as much as getting. All in all it was wonderful and makes the Christmas season so much warmer. Thanks to everyone, but especially to my Secret Santa, for getting together and making this work so nicely.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Photonovels and Movies / Re: New Photonovel by Snaggletooth
« on: January 4, 2007, 11:51 PM »
Oh God, please...save us the post count. Could you just make your photonovel and get over yourself. If we're talking about photonovels not getting attention then spare me...there's already a thread on that and it's a rather dead issue. You post or you don't, your choice. I really couldn't care less which you choose. Announcements on the main page can help you a bit, but have little weight on whether or not I will read and comment on your photonovel or not.

Now go comment my new pic on myspace. I'll return the favor.

Well, I see no point in us arguing about it. Can we just make our photonovels and leave the bickering for other forums?

I saw Night at the Museum on IMAX, and I must say, I was rather disappointed. Everyone played their roles well, but the direction didn't seem to work so smoothly as I had expected. Certain scenes in the movie were pulled off nicely, but others tended to go on long after they should have. I'd have seen a matinee or bought tickets from Costco, but would not have spent the $14 for the IMAX showing, had I known this.

Yes...I've got a pretty varied list, I just slacked off the past year. I remember seeing nearly all these at Walmart or TRU, but held back until they were gone.

Gondorian Swordsman
Gothmog
Mordor Orc Lieutenant
King Elendil
Moria Archer
Boromir (SP)
Gandalf the Grey (SP)
Strider (SP)
Orc Warrior
Crossbow Uruk-hai
Aragorn: Helm's Deep (SP)
Boromir: Captain of Gondor
Gamling
Isengard Orc
Hama
Orc Captain of Isengard
Shagrat
Theodred
Isildur
Theoden: Aged
Cirith Ungol Uruk-hai
Denethor
Gorbag
Minas Tirith Citadel Guard
Aragorn: Council
Saruman the White
Gandalf Stormcrow
Eowyn: Edoras

Lothlorien Giftset
Coronation Gift Pack
Battle Armor Troll

Basically the last year and a half. Thanks for the tip on BBTS. I'll use it for whatever they have left.
