Caught this last night and thought it was great.  Definitely fits in with the rest of the MCU movies.  However, this leaves me wanting another movie in the space between now and Avengers 2!

Anyone watch this last night before the Rebels preview?  I thought it was great and held true to both Star Wars and Phineas and Ferb.  Can't wait for the next installment!

Looks like Hot Wheels is taking it to the next level...

Wonder if this one will end up in the Corvette museum after it hits Comic Con 2015.

Here you go guys, you just need to go to LA to get everything you want!

And it did answer my question about Green River being a local Chicago (soda) pop.

Is Green River a regional thing or is that everywhere?  I remember going to little league games as a kid and getting that at any concession stand that was serving it.  Loved that stuff.

Born and raised in Chicago and it was always 'pop'.  Had relatives that moved to Texas and everyone looked at them as if they were crazy when they ordered a 'pop'.  Took them years before they got used to everyone ordering a 'coke' wherever they went, even if it meant they were ordering a Sprite, root beer, or something else.

Yeah, Chicago has been signing short deals with some of their 3rd and 4th liners (e.g., Regin), or moving others to clear $ (e.g., Bolig).  I seriously think that they are more focused on trying to work out the Toews and Kane deals than courting anyone else.  But I'm by no means following this close enough to know if that's the strategy or not...

Was happy to see Keith end up as the Norris winner again this year.  Had a great regular season.  Thankfully they don't take the play-offs into account because I thought he faltered at times against the Wild and had a terrible series against the Kings.

I've never seen a better hitter than Tony Gwynn and probably never will.  Yahoo Sports has an awesome article about his career statistics:

RIP Mr. Gwynn.

As crazy as this may sound, I think that's the best MH has looked in years.

I'm going to try to avoid as much as I can, but unfortunately for me my curiosity usually gets the best of me.  I'm actually more excited for my sons (they will be 10&11 at the time of release).  I was 10 when ROTJ came out and can still remember listening to the Top 5 music countdown on the local Chicago radio station every night to see if the Ewok Celebration song was still #1.  I also remember only seeing trailers once or twice for the movie and going in not knowing anything about what was going to happen.  It was awesome.

They love The Clone Wars, go crazy for Yoda Chronicles and are really looking forward to Rebels, so I'm sure they are going to go out of their mind when the trailers start coming out.  That's going to be one fun Christmas break.  I'm sure we'll go several times to see it!

What a difference three days makes.

Especially when faced with the prospect of elimination.  I really think that Duncan Keith is playing with an undisclosed injury.  He's not playing anywhere near his regular season levels (a lot of turnovers, not skating very well, etc.).  However, it was nice to see him get the tying goal last night.

I'll be interested to see what team shows up tomorrow.  The one I closed the book on after game 4 or the one that showed they are still the defending champs in games 5&6...

Hawks continue to **** the bed against the Kings.  I'm ready to close the 2014 book on these guys (was actually ready during the Wild series but they surprised me).  They need a long off-season to find their power play (offense and defense) and Crawford's save percentage and GAA...

I love all the focus on the bird-puppet guy.

And why do I have a feeling we are going to get a 3 second shot of him a la Gragra in EP1 so that Hasbro can release a figure at some point?  I hope I eat my words on this one because it's a cool looking character, but with how hush-hush things are about this movie, I don't see them teasing something that ends up as a major character.

Got an error that the video you posted was private and that I needed a password to access.  I'll have to go another route...

The Hawks were definitely outplayed for the vast majority of that game and Crawford needed to stand on his head multiple times to keep it 1-1 and force OT.  Couldn't believe that bounce and the backhander.  Really didn't expect them to make it to the Finals.  Thankfully I had low expectations...

The Wild have definitely sent a message to the Western Conference that they are a Cup contender.  Next season is going to be a fun watch.

Blech.

Sorry Jesse.  That was a pretty colossal failure by the Pens after being up 3-1.  So after Dan Bylsma coaches USA hockey to a dismal performance in Russia, he follows it up with his team ******** the bed in the 2nd round.  I'd call that a pretty bad year for him...  So is he out or do the Pens stick with him?
