Hey Jim...

Honestly most of the stuff I need/want at this point is higher end... So that was why I figured if people sent lists I could see if anything caught my attention...

Sorry man...
But if you do have list LMK

Saga '02-'04 / Re: RUMORS FOR 2004!!!!!!
« on: October 14, 2003, 09:28 PM »
I've heard of possibles for 2005... though it's far to early to even bother mentioning IMHO.

Things that are "on tap" for 2004 could get nixed... nevermind 2005.

The AT-TE (3 3/4" scale form) was talked even talked of at one point... That was a piece I had heard about in early Feb of this year and mentioned back in April on The Trade Fed... though I don't see this piece happening anytime soon... if at all to be honest.

It'd be a pricey piece for Hasbro to go w/... and right now I'm not sure they want to introduce that caliber of a toy to the market.

David is definitely right (as Stan in his PM to me) Hasbro is looking into a hefty style playset... but nothing for '04 that I have heard of.

I think 2004 alone will have collectors bushy eyed for the year... From the very few things I have got to see there is some incredible stuff coming down pike...

I promise you that all the info I receive is from a very reliable source... and not some retail lists. Granted I run w/ things and take the chance they could not see the light... though I think many collectors are at the very least curious to know what goes through the minds behind our favorite toys... even if they may not see some come to fruition.

Although I have been accused of "guessing" and coming out lucky... Which I find quite amusing...  ;)

If I'm that good anyone need their future told?  ::)

I hope that all enjoy..

Michael... I'll respond only because I got the ball rolling here in the first place. Also I consdier Nick a friend of mine... that put himself out for me.

First off I find quite funny that you do not tolerate the squabbling over at the GH forums... yet out come over to do the same on someone else forum. Be a man of your word and take it to email or PM's. Granted these aren't my forums... but "This community has been thriving without them and deserves better than this".
Sound familiar?

Secondly... "Slander"???  ???
That's a bit melodramatic no? I mean Mike should we call in Judge Judy?

Nick merely pointed out what he saw... IF he is wrong then I'm sure he'd be man enough to admit that... Though remember he's stating only what he saw...
I have my comment on it... though sometimes it's best not to say anything at all if you can't say anything nice...

Should I then consider you calling me "unreliable" slander? Or the fact you think I pull names out of a hat and get lucky "once in a while"... Sounds kind of hysterical no?

Though I know you'll deny that as you did already... but we know better than that Michael.

The politics thing is just laughable at this point... I know much better than that Michael. Give back that sheep his wool... because he's cold and I have no use for that wool...

YOU have to learn respect in order to earn it Mike...
THAT was my whole point regarding this...
A nod to the next man that has talked of a lot of stuff you posted won't take the spot light away from you that much... But alas it could bruise an ego... Forgive me for forgetting that much...

I guess I should just mention this is all just my opinion on it all...

Although hit page one and you'll find a bunch more info you can post when you get a chance over at GH.

Cheers Mike

One thing I did forget to mention was that we should also finally see the as yet produced Vader from the Bespin Dinner scene.

Which was once to be an inclusion w/ the CD-Rom line style...

Enjoy girls and boys  :)

Hey guys thanks for the support and compliments...

I don't want anyone to think I was out for sympathy at all. I just wanted people to realize just how cut throat people can be... Even though it's not about " website politics, ill-will, or egos"  ::)

I have talked to my friend in HK and heard a few more tid bits...

I know people are wondering what's up w/ the Y-Wing and X-Wing...

Both will be done in different colors (obviously) and from what I have heard the Y-Wing is looking to be  a throwback to the vintage in that the R2 unit will be removable. Though that is not yet been set in stone but if so it will include two pack ins... a pilot and and R2 unit.

The X-Wing will be the Saga/FX version which also now allows a different R2 unit to be placed inside. Haven;t heard of any pack ins yet on this piece (if any).

TRU four packs are still on tap and at least three new ones are on schedule. Though the fate of these could very well see end as I mentioned in the past... due to sales (or lack thereof).

There is a Cantina wave being thrown around (at this point) and there have been a few figures talked of...
Of course Hem Dazon and Banniss Keeg (both mentioned before)... though the list now sports possibles of Bom Vindim, Gotal, and the Givin...

"Rumor" has it that we could also see the much wanted "U" shape part of the Cantina bar section.
This I believe depends on where the chips fall w/ the second series Cantina sets.

The Cloud Car is still on tap at this point and obviously will be another retailer exclusive.

The three pack concept is still being talked of... and I think would be a HUGE welcome to fans/collectors.
Those were the packs I talked of earlier w/ builders from the OT. Sales on the CW packs thus far look great... so hopefully Hasbro will take a huge note and this will end up a go.

Some people have talked about (and asked about) a new Jawa... As far as I know there will be a Jawa released... however I have not heard it will be included w/ the R1-G4 as some are wondering. I will look into that a little more though...

Jimmy where's Hermie? Jimmy's where's Bib?
Well fear not they have not got the axe yet... though they have not been confirmed yet either. It's very possible we could see these through other avenues and not just standard carded figs.

There are the TRU four packs, Screen Scenes, and I have even heard talk of more possible FC exclusives in the future...

Of course w/ Hasbro anything and everything is subject to change. Some of the pieces I hear about I hear a year or more in advance... It's weird like that.

But don't take my word for it...
I mean GalacticHunter will post about in 6 months or so...

Thanks again guys for the support and belief. I do this for fun and nothing more...

A HUGE thanks to Nick and Chris (Del) from The Jawa... Two great guys part of my former alumni  ;)

Thanks Nick  :)

I know some people might look at it as a pi**ing match... but it's more a matter of just respecting the fact the info was posted by someone else very early on and giving credit where it's due.

I find his journalistic qualities (or lack thereof) not of the highest standards...

I can truly believe Michael hanging w/ SS...

Like you said shows his true colors...

D_C_F just remember that the TIE out now was a KB exclusive and aside from the fact of it being an exclusive... it's a KB exclusive which automatically makes it more over priced than if it was anyone else exclusive.

I have not heard of this piece... but I can look into more...

Note from JediMAC:  In order to maintain the peace, the various posts in this thread have been split off from the MORE NEW FOR 2004!!!!! thread into this separate thread, and this topic title has been adjusted accordingly...

Well...
Nice and convenient for Michael Sullenger to be "the first" to post 3/4 of a list of items that I have mentioned several times in the past.

A good majority talked about here less than a month ago (Sept 15th to be exact) in the "Future Waves" thread...

With a good majority posted about earlier this spring or when I was admin on Trade Fed last year. Although dates can not lie...

It's trivial to many I know that... though this is the reason I got out of the game. To much back stabbing, lying, and scooping of info and making it ones own...

So I wonder Michael's little swarmi's name is... could it be... Jimmy? This is not about an ego thing or the like... and no p*nis envy thing... just the fact of no respect given to the next man...

Funny thing is Mr. Sullenger has said in the past that my info is unreliable... though the track record thus far has proven him wrong... but of course his ego would just gets in the way for him to ever realize that...

And if anyone here would like to run and tell him about this thread feel free... or maybe he'll see it like he did the list of product he saw here...

Clone Wars '03-'05 / Re: As expected... PEGWARMERS!
« on: October 10, 2003, 01:17 PM »
I thought I read somewhere there were hundreds of an ARC Trooper army, and they were all personally trained by Jango Fett (before his death).

Not sure t be honest... but a few people I know that read the comics said that most that were hinted at were I think four.
Which I can believe since on the card back it mentions...

"Only a select number of ARC Troopers were bred and trained..."

But hey it's all good in how you want to do things...

As for him being the coolest CW fig... I'd say he is for now... but there is only three out (not counting Clones or deluxe).

I think that once the others hit it'll be a toss up between Asajj or Kit...

Hey...

Yeah I saw these from my friend in HK.
Once in a bit he'll throw up some pics on a personal web space for a few minutes that he'll send me access to.

This was the same way I got to see a third Imperial Dig that has yet to be shown or announced by Hasbro.

The pics are protected so there's no way to save them... well unless I go other routes... but he's a friend and I appreciate the fact he lets me in on them as is...

I have actually contemplated getting back into the "game" (i.e. reporting news on a site again) though really not 100% sure on this... If that happens maybe I'll do some talking to see what I can get out there and how early...

I have never seen the Lando Skiff wave or this wave (Biker Scout) on shelves.

I had to get the Lando wave from a freind in Oregon and the Biker I ordered through EE...
