Whenever I see guys on the internet talking about how "ugly" celebrities like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera are.....

I always have a good chuckle.

I can say that I think Ms. Aguilera is a skank and I for one wouldn't push her out my bed... because she wouldn't be allowed in it in the first place.

Ms. Spears is cute... but nothing more than that for me. She does have quite a body... but nothing that anyone w/ her money couldn't obtain. Also take into account she's in her early 20's I'd hope she still has herself a tight little body...

Madonna? 100% skank IMHO. I think I stated how I felt about her though in my GAP commercial post.

Totally publicity stunt and a lame a** one of you ask me.
Madonna needs to check her birth certificate and then realize she has some kids that need tending to...

As for the...

These are the same guys that if they ever happened to be at a bar (Say...on a drink break on D&D night), and the same girl walked in, you'd need 4 janitors to sweep their chins off the floor.  You certainly wouldn't hear any complaints that day.

comment...

Well I never once played a game of "D&D" in my life and feel as I do on these "women". Britney and Christina are no more "HOT" than someone living a few blocks from you. I mean they are both blonde blue eyed "HOTTIES"... umm... yeah... that's tough to find in the nearest mall.

Never been a big fan of blondes in general though... IMHO many look all the same to me.

I think it's fairly easy to say they aren't "HOT" as some out there think... because well some have a bit higher standard. Then again it might just be the huge "D&D" triflin', no *** getting geek in me  :-*

Jimmy, let's not go there. You know what this is about. You are directly taking a ribbing at the Jangos Apt site and Jango Fettish/Cory, just to start trouble.

No idea what this is about really...  ???

I think Cory is a great guy and I'm sure many others would agree w/ me.

If there's some personal indifference between us... I'm sorry to hear that I thought we were all friends.  :)

Let's not hijack this thread Jimmy, please stop with the harassment.

Harassment?  ???

Why is my posting of LobotsDup.com any more harassment than the Death Clock link...

Get out the dunce cap, call me stupid and sit me in the corner... but I see no wrong doing here at all. I think every character should have their own super fan site. Hell I might make my own Sio Bibble's Swinging Bachelor Crib...

Should there be just one exclusive super fan site out there? That's kind of discriminatory towards any of the other vital Star Wars hero's...

If someone feels harassed or threatened by that then I'm sorry... they should probably grow a thicker skin.

We love Lobot!!!

I just keep looking at it in awe man...
I dunno Virex you've really outdone yourself this time.

I know the site is a thing of beauty but maybe you could use this picture below as a guest "fan" banner someday.
I tried making it as nice as what the site deserves but it's hard...

I do hope you enjoy it Virex.

If this is true Scott... I can not wait to see what comes of this.

Willy Wonka is one of my favorite movies of all time... The spooked out acid trip that it is. Tim Burton is also one of my favorite directors of all time... The cooked out flake that he is... Johnny Depp is one of my favorite modern actors...

I can not fathom the darkness Tim will add to it... OK everyone start camping out for Episode III I'll be camping for this one.

I was on a sabbatical of sorts though w/ this posting it was impossible for me to stay away...

I am in total awe... You have the most incredible character collection I have ever seen... but I can only imagine how much bigger and better it will get in the coming days, months... and years.

I have seen others try though none can compare. A total of four whole pieces... but what incredible pieces they are. LobotsDup should be an inspiration for us all... The cracker story alone almost made me cry. To think someone can have such a fettish-errr I mean love for such an incredibly vital part of the Star Wars universe.

I can honestly you have just earned your number 1 fan here. Please tell me you are going to update daily... ok well weekly... ok well.... monthly?

I think I heard an auction house in England was due to have an auction containing a some of John Hollis own hair just before he got the scalp for the Lobot role...

Long live Lobot... Long live John Hollis... Long live Virex!!!

Then I get this reply telling me not to enter, and I get one from Jimmy suggesting the "Great forums at RS" ( Which by the way you are WAY too obsessed with considering you've been  banned from it for months. Get over it and move on).

Obsessed? You seem to have a very askew view on my obsessions... I promise you JoshEEEEEE... (sorry got carried away) Rebelscums forums are definitely not on my "obsession" list.

Do I still visit on occasion? Sure... most will agree these days it's pure entertainment. It's also cool to sit there and watch the rocks fall and the walls begin to crumble... in my opinion. I assure you however that it's far from an obsession of mine.

I merely made a statement...

There's always the great forums known as Rebelscum...

I guess my suggestion was too offensive for you Josh... Nothing I can do but tell you might you might want to consider growing a thicker skin...

BTW- No link in my name to Jedi Defender so I'm not w/ the JD army.

The point is moot really...
You either get one of the standard "sorry" bull**** replies... or may get lucky and get an email stating they'll send you a small "gift"... I was a lucky recipient of the standard bull...

I love reading some of the various threads though on this matter at the different forums... Some (most) like myself think what GG did was just flat out wrong... Then some others like one of my favorite Rebelscum little poster boys adds his opinion... but also notes he got one and made himself a little profit from it. Great guy!

Ahh... not even worth wasting your breath on it anymore... Congrats to those that got one... and hopefully to those that didn't you will... or just decide your money is better spent elsewhere.

And to be honest I am burned out big time right now, I have zero to no passion about the whole thing.  I look at my toys and say wowza, lots of stuff.

I have been at that point for awhile now...
I mean the stuff shown at WWC was gorgeous but honestly if Hasbro said we are done now...

I'd actually be more happy than sad...

I've been at for a long time and look at the enormous collection I built up and instead of wowza like Scott... I say **** look at all the money sitting here...

At times I feel joy... but far more times I feel obligated like Scott...

$100 for a proto on someone like Jango is a bit low balled to be quite honest. Usually characters like Vader, R2, Boba, Jango... fetch at least some change over $100... Don't get me wrong they can be snagged cheaper but those deals are usually far and few...

Of course making friends is a good thing... I have paid as low as $25 for some protos and even had a couple given to me... Networking is the best advice for anyone...

Scott... Focusing is much easier on the wallet and less stressful... though depending on who or what you choose to focus on. I have  a Hoth proto focus and have a bunch of protos focused on Hoth characters...
Snowtrooper deluxe, Hoth soldier (old), Luke Hoth, Luke from TaunTaun... and more...

It's cool and much easier to concentrate on then just going nuts and buying up all the protos I want. I do have protos of other things though (even some unreleased stuff) but I don't go too crazy. It's all in fun...

The thing w/ protos is you get see much more detail in many cases... Most people do not realize subtle details left out once all the paint aps are applied...

Then there are the many cases where a proto might have some additional detail that gets cut from the production verison.

There are people on both sides of the fence like many other things in this hobby...
