I came across a grab bag of vintage capes and weapons a my local comic shop for $7. I mainly bought it for a Jabba pipe and bowl, and some Ewok stuff, but then I was left with these extra capes. So I stuck them on my Clones.
And yes, this is pretty much the extent of my customizing skills.

That jerk Bacara really doesn't like new Joes.

Those look remarkably good. Where'd you score the vintage capes anyway?
-
I got them at a place called the Core. It's the local comic shop.
Basically they took all the accessories off the vintage figures they had for sale and stuck them in a few bags. I'm not complaining. I saw another bag full of Bespin and Jedi Luke sabers (yellow, blue, and green) and some GI Joe weapons for about $20, which I think I'll pick up and trade off the extras.
I still can't figure out where the cape I put on Bacara goes. I've searched all the vintage SW sites and YoJoe, and I found out it doesn't belong to either of those lines.
Glad you liked them. :)

Sometimes simple little additions like this are the ones you're most proud of. They look nice! Now, start really getting into customizing!
:P

It might be a Robin Hood Prince of Thieves cape -- I'm just not sure which figure.

That's pretty cool, the one in the trenchcoat makes me think of a "gunslinger" clone or something ;D
-
That's what I was thinking. But the coat's too big for him to cross his arms and puts his hands at his sides.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. :)

I'll second the Robin Hood notion.
It's funny how the old Bib Fortuna coat looks better than any modern Hasbro "soft goods"
-
I checked this (http://www.virtualtoychest.com/robinhood/robinhood.html) page out, and it doesn't look like it belongs to any Robin Hood figures.
I'll bet it belongs to something like Robotech or Voltron, though trying to find anything dealing with the vintage lines of those properties is rather daunting.

I did these "custom" Masters of the Universe figures when the line died and massive amounts of clearanced figures were available.
As soon as I got some of these new figures, I wished they had a paint wash to bring out their detail. I took it upon myself to do this. He-Man and Man-At-Arms were my first attempts at this, and they came out a little too dirty. So I consider them 'battle-worn'. I tried Orko, Trap Jaw, and Fire Armor Skeletor next, and I'm pleased with the way they came out, Orko especially.
First up, He-Man.

Orko

Trap Jaw

Man-At-Arms vs. Trap Jaw (all my MAA pics were too blurry, and my camera's charging right now)

Fire Armor Skeletor. I hated that stupid missile-launching staff the figure originally had, so I used the staff I had from a Skeletor I used for a Faker custom and swapped heads. I like this one much better. I added some red to the flames on the armor since they needed some more detail.

And lastly we have my two Faker customs. I still don't have a Faker from the 200x line, and since prices on ebay are too damn high, I made my own. The one on the left is my first attempt, which I really like. The second one, on the right, I attempted to go with a Terminator-esque version, by adding some silver and red where his flesh broke and cutting off a hand. I consider this one unfinished, since I had the idea last night to stick some straightened-out paperclips into the stub to give it a better look. And I figured if he was supposed to pretend to be He-Man, he should at least wear his armor.

Comments and critiques most welcome. :) As are offers to sell me other 200x figures like Keldor, Moss Man, and vintage figures.

Ben, I think those capes suit the clones fantastically. That fuzzy brown Prune Face cloak fits that one of them better than just about any other figure I've seen - the hood even fits convincingly. Nice stuff there!
And very fine work on the Masters of the Universe refits too. I especially like Orko -- that's truly a complete transformation from the silly li'l wind-up one Mattel gave us back in the day. In your version, he really looks like the wizard he is. 8)

Sadly I must say orko's never looked better.. ;D
I realy like those MOTU touch ups, especially Trap Jaw. He was always one of my favorites.
-
Cool MOTU customs, those washes came out very well.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the positive comments. :)
