Can I get a recap here...

You ordered 3 things, 2 were not in stock when you ordered and 1 was.  They don't ship it all unless its all in stock?  So they wait and by the time the 2 items are in stock the original item that was in stock is now out of stock and the cycle continues...

What kind of ******* **** for brain idiots do they have working there?

Well, so Dave doesn't feel completely picked on...

Just checked my account at ole SSW.com...

My Kermits no longer have a shipping date, though they were supposed to ship this week.  No, I don't have a shipping confirmation email anywhere.  And now they've added the shipping costs to the items, in spite of previous statements that they will not be applied.  I can live with it, since the first clone busts were shipped without the shipping charges, so essentially this is a plus in their court, though I really would like to eventually see a Kermit, I hear they are nice.  It's only been about a little less than four months since I first ordered them ::)

My other clone busts are shipping apparently on July 31.

No sign of my gift certificate anywhere, either applied or reinstated.   ::)

I hate to throw salt on the wound, but I got my Kermit on Monday.  I had an email the previous week that he would be shipped and that completes my order from the opening day fiasco.  I have not ordered anything from them since and I'm not sure I will unless it is an exclusive figure of some sort (can you imagine that nightmare??).

I'm just tossing this out here to give hope to those that are still in limbo with there orders....so even though they seem to screw up several orders at a time, one or two must turn out ok since I'm all set here. :-\

I did another order with these people and have to say that whoever package the stuff did a good job for at least one of the items.  I ordered a Revenge of the Jedi marketing piece and the SE TESB poster.  I haven't opened up the poster yet but the ROTJ piece arrived double box and in bubble wrap unlike my last ROTJ item which was put in my mailbox bent.
Hopefully you guys with problems will get it resovled in your favor.

i don't know whats worse - the fact that they keep screwing up my orders, or the fact that i keep ordering more crap from them  ::)

if it wasn't for the fact that i really want all the stuff i order from them, it would almost be funny, how bad the service is.

almost.

So far my packing has been good.  Both busts showed up in very nice condition and pretty low numbers.

well, tomorrow looks like the day i've been waiting for. according to the tracking number - and it actually works this time - my final package from my initial order - yes, my april 14th order - will be arriving. mind you, when i ordered these items, almost 3 months ago, they were supposed to ship in 10 days.

just to recap, for anyone who's joining this party late: i ordered (1) adventure kermit, (1) yoda t-shirt, and (1) clone wars series 2 poster. on 4/14, when i placed my order, the kermit and the poster were in stock. the shirt had not arrived yet. my order stayed open. a week or two went by, i went back to check on my order. now, my shirt is in stock, my poster is in stock, but the kermit is out of stock. another few weeks pass - kermit and poster are in stock, but now shirt is out again. another few weeks - shirt and poster are in stock, but now kermit is out of stock, again. you see the pattern here, right? at no one point were all 3 of my items in stock.

well, late last month, i finally got tired of this b.s. and sent a rather nasty email to starwarsshop.com asking what the f**k was going on with my stuff. i was told that they cannot hold in stock items that were ordered while other items were out of stock. huh? why would you not hold onto the few items that i ordered that were in stock until the other items arrived, so that you could process my order and make me a happy customer? not our policy, i was told.

so, i went ballistic. waiting 3 months for 3 items is ridiculous, especially when every time i went to check on them, a different one was out of stock. the solution? ship all the items out seperately. i got my t-shirt last week, my kermit today, and my poster is supposed to arrive tomorrow, according to my fedex tracking number. i'll have to wait and see what kind of shape it arrives in, considering what happened the first time i ordered a poster.

now, what i don't get is this: if you were able to ship out all 3 items seperately, on 6/24, 6/29, and 6/30 respectively, why was it so hard to get all 3 items in stock at the same time? there is only a 6 day wait from the time the first item shipped to the time the last one did. but you know what the kicker is? they charged me for shipping on each order - $4.95 x 3. so instead of paying $8.95 for shipping, i ended up paying $14.85.

but ya know what? if my friggin poster actually arrives tomorrow, in mint shape, i'll be okay with it. of course, i still have an open order or two with sws.com, but i guess that 'cause i just never learn.

Well, I got one heck of a surprising email today from Jim (chuckles).  Apparently, my Kermit's arrived at his place today, well packed and in very nice shape :o  For me, that completes my March 10th order, not quite four months to the day, but darn close.

Now, I never received an email from them saying this was sent out.  No big deal, but just interesting to me.  I still have an order remaining to be filled, supposedly shipping on July 31 so we'll see.  I still have the issue of my outstanding and somewhat nonexistent gift certificate that has been sent to cyber lala land.  I expect by the time that part is resolved, it should be getting pretty close to six months after the initial opening.  Not bad ::)

Silver Sandtrooper is on-line now for Hyperspace Members.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out regarding Figure Shipments (crushed or not crushed?).

How they handle this will determine if I bother with the Holo-Emperor or not...  :-\

I got word my VOTC Wave 1 figures are on their way...surprised me too since I don't think I had seen any other etailers say they had gotten them in.  Hopefully it is Wave 1 (w/ Luke) and not the Leia/Obi/Han case
