30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Hasbro 30AC Overload Already?

End of the year bombardments are the worst because not only am I trying to get the two or three waves that hit at almost the same time it will be Christmas and end of the year inventory for retail. I know I had a tough time finishing the basic TAC series and only picked up 2 Legends figures that were holes in other collection, (RA-7,TC-14). Most of the the last waves don't make it on the shelves around here or at best they are at one store or chain of stores.

As fot the At-Te. I would like to get it, but I just don't see it happening with that price point.

I was only going to put the black line above the eye, but was stuck with the shocked look still so I went all away around and was trying to avoid racoon eyes. On this one it came out well.

Another fine piece of work. Lucky that Koffie's chest plate resembles the character, isn't it? :D

When it comes to doing Sith Lords from the Legacy series the challenge is trying to match the armor. Once I saw Koffi I knew that was the one I wanted.

Maleval from the cover of Legacy

Closeup of head. I put the black around the eyes to avoid the whole shocked looked.

The robe is a pain to get on and off but here is a pic of some of his armor. The kama is a soft goods Vader kama and the robe is an unknown.

Parts:
head-Tessk
body-Koffi
hands-Ketwol
kama-Vader
robe-unknown sith
whip-lightsaber hilt and wire

Target Comic Pack price is now 12.07 in California.

It about 12.30 in Colorado Springs. Gotta save my pennies to get these now.

Female rebel pilot based on the StarWars minis version

Reference:

I took some liberties with it. I did not want to do the exact figure just the concept.

Target and Exclusives. One store will get a bunch. Another will get nothing. If they are carrying too much merchandise they will clearence it out weeks after receiving it. I saw VSTC on clearence a month after they were released. It's a tuff call with them. Do you pick it up when you see it because you may not see it again or do you wait a month or two for the 30% off clearence? Personally I try to wait it out.

When Order 66 came out they only had the one shelf by the registers. They kept it stocked full for a month then they were gone. A week later there was and entire endcap plus half of another one near sporting goods full of clearence Order 66.

So when it comes to Target decide how bad you need it before purchasing.

Watched POTC3 again but this time on a big screen instead of on the computer. Sound was not bad this time around. All in all I take back dismissing the last 2 movies. There are just parts in them that make you want to say WTF.

Saw POTC3 today. I was hoping for a good ending but like most have stated it was not a good story.
The first is the best by far. As far as I'm concerned the last two do not exist. The first one ended pretty much without NEEDING the other two. The whole attack of the 50ft woman thing could not have been any lamer. Talk about trying to make a movie just to get our money.

I watched it on my computer so I was hoping the sound problem was beacuse of that. It sounds like that is not the case.
