How are they going to fit the carbonite casing in a box?

Good question, I'm wondering that myself ???. Maybe they'll use a bigger box? Or maybe it'll come unassembled? Or maybe its just the optical illusion playing on us! :D

I think Spirit of Obi Wan will definitley be a chase figure.  Maybe Paploo too.  The Droids may be the Boxed set by themselves.  What do yo think?   Han?

Hmm I still think Spirit Obi and Paploo (and Bespin Han) are part of the box set. Japanese companies dont usually reveal chase figures, not even for public relations. We'll only know what the chases are when they've released them... Can't wait!!

Yeah the Ewok and Jawa doesnt appeal to me much, but I'll buy them both anyways to complete the Series 3 regulars. I wonder what the packaging for S3 will be like! The previous ones followed Hasbro's Saga logo (with a lightsaber on the side). It'll be interesting to see how Medicom will pull the OTC design if they're following it.

As with the SW Kubrick boxset, I heard its going to be an exclusive for Japan's Toys R Us!! I hope that's true as buying one will be so much easier compare to the Early Bird and Speeder Bike set!

Thank you for the pics!! Loving Han's block, I dont really care if it comes with the figure or not. Funny to see 3PO taller than AT-AT Driver and Lando :) Hmm, apart from the card I dont find the Droids Boba amazing at all. I thought they would've retooled his costume as well rather than just simply repainting it.

Thanks Simon. If that is indeed a removable Han in Carbonite..... :o :o I think I have a favorite allready. Hasbro doesnt want to give us a new one, I'm so glad Medicom will.

Durge, I line up my loose S1 & S2 SW Kubricks (in front of their boxes) according to the order pictured on the box. All the accesories are placed infront of them as opposed to them holding it. A bit weird, but I prefer to display these Kubricks empty handed. ;D

Ohh this is exciting! Good job with the update using a photographic memory ;D I'm kinda disapointed to hear that Vader is not mentioned. I would love a ROTJ final battle theme. Anyways; with Han in Carbonite, did you see a carbonite block as well or was it just the Han figure?? And with the Droid Boba Fett, could you tell if it was just a repaint or does it have a new armor for an accurate look?

Ah bad luck mate, sorry to hear about that. It angers me too to hear people can be so greedy and inconsiderate, especially when they very well know the high demand and limited number of this toy. Hope you at least had some fun yesterday though and maybe you still can score a Fett over the collector's club. Best of luck!

It's ridiculous but some people actualy do that: making an extra profit by jacking up the shipping cost. Guessing Andy is doing just that, which is absurd after what he had put you through!

BTW evenflow; Nice score on the R2! Have you got the other carded SW Kubricks as well?

Just the fact that its Boba allready sold me in! ;D I think it looks really good actually. I'd like to see Medicom start a new SW line with this concept, especially if they're the same size as Kubricks. I mean, the majority of SW collectors (and many still) didnt take Kubrick/chibi/SD style as their thing as well at first, but it grew on them over time. This one probably will do the same.

That's cool Simon. Have a great time at the convention if you're going there though! Looking forward to hear more about it. I wonder what else Medicom might have in store that day....... SW Kubrick Series 3??  :o ;D

Ouch! Havent been on this board for weeks and to come here hearing stories about Andy is just sad... It's scum like him that makes this hobby miserable. Sorry to hear about your experiences with this Andy. I hope things will work out for you two.

Oh that looks so cool!! Looks like Medicom isnt done with their SW license. Do you know how big that Fett is going to be?? Imagine if they're the same size with the Kubricks.

Will you be able to get some of these in from the Collectors' Club to sell, Simon? I'll definitely buy one off you, so please-please-please put me on the list if you are ;)

Wow! Nice packaging! I thought it would come with 2 bikes, but still its nice! What would be a good price on eBay for this set? There are 2 for US$75 each atm. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3189809106&category=48972

I’m kind of doubting a Droids 3PO in series 3 though. For a “surprise” figure, it’s just too predictable and obvious, which is unusual for Medicom’s part. Another thing is with the issue like some have mentioned about having a carded R2 and plastic bag 3PO for display. To me, it just doesn’t sound like something a Japanese toy company would do unless they expect people to open the R2. Well they might still put him in anyways. If we do get it as a chase figure, maybe one can customise a card packaging for display with the R2.

And BTW that is a pretty good price for a $96.88 BIN R2! Nice score!
