Not sure whether this is a nationwide trend or not, but one of my local Wal Marts had all Star Wars figures marked down to $6.00.  They had the newest waves all in a large aisle display.

OK, another Matchstick was not so hard to find.  I went to the ghetto Wal Mart of my town, where people tend not to buy action figures, and scored another.  Same store had all SW figures down to $6.00 8)

Matchstick has got the be the hardest figure ever to find...  After I scored one yesterday, I went to three other stores hoping to continue my luck.  One had this huge aisle setup with the SW figures.  Lots of the recent ANH, ROTJ, ESB and ROTS waves, as well as parts of the said CW wave - just the Matchsticks had already been cleaned out.  I'll keep hunting as I'd rather not pay for one off ebay at the moment.

Finally scored my Matchstick figure at Wal Mart today.  Now to find another so as to have an "accurate" crew for my Y-wing.

I found this wave at Wal Mart while on my lunch break.  I like when I find out about new items showing up and then a day or two later find them 8)  Lots of good figures in this wave, though I get the biggest kick out of Willrow Hood for the figure's sheer obscurity.

I found the complete ESB wave at the Clovis, CA Wal Mart today on my lunch break, plus elements of the ROTS wave.  Basically, I was able to get all the figures I've been wanting for the past few weeks in one swoop 8)  Willrow Hood is fantastic and I don't think the Bespin Guard is that bad either.  I like the improved Commander Cody figure from the ROTS wave, though the head appears a little small.

And please don't get me started on the Imperial Scanning trooper (and for that matter Ugnaught 2). Can't even find these guys in ANY wave, new or refresh.

Really?  There must have been at least six of the Scanning trooper at one of my local Wal Marts in Central California - and that was just one store.  I've seen more at other Wal Marts and Targets in my area.  They're not moving all the quickly and I already got my fill.

That said, I certainly agree with much of what has been said above to an extent.  I still have not seen that new wave of CW figures (the one with Matchstick) or the ROTS wave.  I was used to regional distribution back with the 21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier line, but I would have thought mighty Hasbro could do better...

I've recently been finding the Gelagrub and Rishi Moon battlepacks at Wal Mart and I recently found the Endor pack at TRU.  Wish I could keep track of what comes in what wave so that when I see something new besides the hordes of Jabba's Palace packs at any retailer, I either know what to look for or what I just missed ;)

I'd like to find the Resurgence of the Jedi pack since Entertainment Earth ran out of them before I could place my order...

I enjoyed this episode as well.  While I've never been into the zombie thing much in any genera, I thought the way it was explained in this episode with the hive-mentality and worms was well done.  The episode also moved at a decent pace that did not seem too rushed...  Also, very classic interaction between Obi Wan and Anakin - and I had to almost chuckle about Obi Wan's insistence to "see what happens" when the Geonosians threatened to put the worm in Luminara.  The upcoming episode also looks like it will be another creep-out one.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Target SotE TIE Fighter (new cockpit)

I found these over the weekend at one of my local Targets, could not resist the fact that it has the new cockpit, and so caved in and got it. The red tinted windows are not my favorite, but actually do not look so bad in person and are hardly noticable at a distance.  Thankfully, Hasbro did not use too bright of a red on the windows.  Overall, however, the redesigned cockpit pod really brings together the look of the TIE Fighter to the point of near film accuracy 8)

I caved in and got the SOTE TIE Fighter at Target today and will probably have to go back and get the CW figure packs.  From the posts above, it sounds like I should start checking my local Khols stores 8)

So far, these are not really moving in my area.  One of my local Wal Marts has at least 10 of them still sitting on the shelf.  I'm content with my one, but if they are discounted after the holidays, I'll grab another ;)

I rather like the Freeco speeder, enough that I picked up two.  To me, its an interesting variation on the bike concept with the enclosed cockpit and all.  From what I've seen, the ammount of "frost" on the windscreen varies.  Some are pretty much clear and others are near solid white.

Although our local WMs and TRU have continued to pretty much be barren of SW figures (unless that has changed this week), Target has been stocked to the gills it seems.  Although I already have what I need via online sources, I've seen quite a bit of the ROTJ wave - and this morning the ANH wave was on the pegs as well.  It is the most Legacy I've seen out in some time, and the Legends/CW pegs are full of figs as well.  Nice to (finally) see some stock making it out.

Yes, my targets have done the same with the ANH and ROTJ waves.  They've also been putting out last year's wave of CW figures, but on the new cards.  I've not seen the new waves of CW figures or the ROTS wave yet.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Wal-Mart Droid Factory Sets

Sounds like the poor sales of this round of Droid Factory 2-Packs (yes, probably the fault of the $17 price tag) have killed this line.

I guess I'm OK with that.  At $10-12, they were fun.  At $17... not quite as much fun.  :-\

Agreed.  A couple Wal Marts in my area have had them for a couple months now and most are still there.  I did pick up the Corran Horn pack, but only because I liked getting an action figure one of the main characters from the X-Wing series of books that I was into back in the '90s.  Most of the other figures were repacks and not the best figures at that.  The Grevious and Boba Fett packs, for example, should have used the updated versions of those figures.  I would have at least been more inclined to buy them.
