I saw people bitching about the Han. How is getting a Han in Stormtrooper disguise anything but cool?

Beats me. I mean I’m cool with my Legacy one but that one looks tons better so hey ok I’ll buy that.🤷♂️

And not having a Han to go with the vintage POTF Luke has always been disappointing. This will be a decent compromise 30+ years later (for those who don't open TVC stuff)

I'm personally pretty excited about the new Stormtrooper Han. Yes, we have gotten it before, but I never tire of seeing OT releases in this line, and it looks like the head/face paint is improved here. Plus, a figure that always sort of "belonged" in the original line. If it has to be an exclusive, I'd MUCH rather it be Target than Wal-Mart.

Wasn’t there rumored to be a Stormtrooper disguise Han/Luke in Trash Compactor deco coming out (might be 6”). Thought I saw pics of that awhile back. Maybe it was that Hasbro diorama they did?

It looks to be the new TVC Stormtrooper sculpt from the Rogue One cardback with a new head. If it is, this has lots of potential. Definitely going to put the Han head on a VOTC Han

Yeah, the arms, knees, and holster off the belt make it look like it's on older Stormtrooper, but now with new Han head (not sure if it's a new head sculpt or just the new face deco technique applied to one of the old heads).
The more I look at it, the more it looks like 2014 Black Series #08 (http://www.rebelscum.com/The-Black-Series-08-Stormtrooper.asp) body. That upper arm armor is the give-away.

Looking at the press photos, it appears Hasbro is using the 2011 TVC Stormtrooper, which is a mod of the 2004 VOTC Stormtrooper for Han. The giveaway is the cod piece lol. Only the helmet is shared with the new 2019 TVC Stormtrooper. That’s a bit disappointing as I was hoping to be able to build up the new design when Target overflows with Han. Oh well...

Very disappointed that they're using the previous Stormtrooper body. Probably my least favorite. Hoping against hope that maybe the press images are mock ups and that they're using superior new mold for production.

Go to www.yakface.com and look at in-hand pics of the Han. This is an exclusive I can safely say I want a few of. That's a nice Han likeness there.

It's probably the best Han likeness in this scale ever. Too bad it's on the older trooper body, but I liked that one so much I have like twenty of him or so.

I picked up a couple of these at a local Target store. Finding it listed online and held for me at customer service was pretty nice.

Easily the best sculpt of a human that Hasbro has ever done. Hands down it is unrivaled and not even close that I can think of.
How this can be shipping alongside the 6” Trash Compactor Luke with the goofy teeth is beyond me.

I managed to get one reserved at one of my local Targets. Looks great! I'm debating on either keeping it on the card or opening. I might have to get a second one.

Just did the same and ordered two for in-store pick-up. Hope at least one is a minty card for my Carded Han collection.

After being disappointed that they didn’t use the new Stormtrooper body for this figure, i only picked up one. And that was primarily for the helmet and the head. I had intended to put the head on a VOTC ANH Han, but the skin tones don’t match and I don’t feel like painting the ANH Han. So the next best thing was to swap heads with TVC Bespin Han - that one HS an atrocious face sculpt. Now this figure is much much better...

The head peg needed some modifying to get the head to fit, but totally worth the effort.

Yup, I wound up with some extra Han Stormies and I may now just use them for head swaps since helmetless Stormtroopers are always fun too.
That headsculpt looks somehow 10x better on a classic Han costume figure.

This definitely improved my interest in the Stormtrooper Han. I had ordered 2 to hedge my bets on the helmet deco. I might just keep the 2nd one now.

Just gonna echo everyone else here.
Best Han ever, by a country mile. One of the best "human" figures of all time.
And, yeah, had a stunningly easy experience at Target. Bought two online after midnight the day of release, picked 'em up the next morning, neat as a pin.
I will definitely do an ESB head swap. I worry about messing up the neck permanently on what is at this point a rare and expensive figure. If I can accomplish the task by dremmeling out the head, so much the better (as they're clearly far easier to replace and, worst case, you wind up with an extra stormtrooper.)
Can't wait to get the new Stormtrooper Luke this summer at SDCC.

Again, echoing others, but this Han is amazing. Nice and simple to get too, ordered it Sundat had it by Tuesday (our local store sold the entire case of 8 Sunday morning). Through some ordering bugs, I ended up ordering extras but I think I might just use them for head swaps like that Bespin one. Only drawback to this face scan paint apps....I kind of want redos on most of the human characters now :-X, at least the main characters.

I took one of my Minbar Stormtroopers and cleaned off the mud. Have it standing next to the Han. It's no contest. All previous Stormtroopers are inferior and the molds should be archived.

The new RO stormtrooper shares the Mimban sculpt, doesn't it?
I think this works great for a Stormtrooper Han, as well as an at-attention Stormie, but yeah, the Mimban Stormie sculpt feels next level.

I really like this figure! The helmet has incredible detail for a removable helmet, the Han likeness is almost perfect (I want a head sculpt like this for every major human character) the blaster has great detail on it, and the body is really well done.
Of course that last point might change when I get ahold of a RO Stormtrooper.

I managed finding one at 25% off. On the fence if I feel bad about not being able to pick up more. My main interest is using the head and helmet to upgrade other Hans and stormtroopers.
