So I've decided to make a jump over here since everyone seems to be telling me that things are better on this site. I'll still go over to check rebelscum and all...
Just wanted to say hi.
Also, to avoid any uncomfortable newbie mistakes, are there any special pieces of forum etiquette that I should know about - that are different from rebelscum that is?

But welcome to JD anyways KBZ! Hope you enjoy things around here. Feel free to drop any of the staff a line if you've got any questions or comments about anything...
Differences from RS? Let me see... We all play nice here for starters! 8) I guess it helps that we're all pretty good buddies here, and most everyone knows everyone's name. Whatever happened over at RS between people stays over there. JD is a new start for everyone! We generally avoid the political discussions as well, as you may have guessed... Blah, blah, blah. I'm sure you get the jist! ;)
So with all that said, roll up your sleeves, start typing, and have fun! Looking forward to seeing you around the boards here...

BTW, what are you doing out in Dallas now? Finish up school in Florida, and headed out to the "real world" (or just back home)?
I'm from Tampa, graduated from the University of Florida, and moved to Dallas 2 weeks ago - hopefully I'll be interning at a really cool place soon - and probably working at a crappy one at the same time - more on that if it pans out. So basically yes, I'm moving out into the 'real world.' :)
If things don't go well, I'm going to apply for Texas residency and try to get into UT next year.

I caught myself helping to ruin a perfectly good topic about debt by getting wrapped up in arguing with Dressel, and remembered why I registered here in the first place.
So I'll try to make more quality posts here and vent all that nonsense over at the scum...
