I'll go to the Winchester and wait for the whole thing to blow over.   ;)

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

You don't spend the Zombie Apocalypse at a Wal-Mart or a Target, or any other big box store. Look at your basic snow storm/tornado/hurricane. Those stores fill up and empty in as much time. Then you have to consider the undesirables: looters, vandals, robbers. Can you secure an entire Wal-Mart all by yourself? No. What happens when you get there and the power finally gives and the store is now a perfect breeding ground of rancid rotting produce and meat? I bet that will smell fantastic. The plan of hiding in a location like this is one of the worst.

I picked it up tonight, and I have to say I'd put this up there with Ten and Lost Dogs as my favorite Pearl Jam projects they've released. The album really slides together well, and I like changes of pace. To me this feels familiar, but something entirely new from them. They definitely haven't lost their touch as a band.

A few months ago I started my collection with a Spider-Man 3 Venom mini-bust, and just yesterday I picked up this treat for myself, for working 15 days in a row, and because I couldn't find it around my birthday. :)

I'm headed out for a 3 day soft camping trip at Thompsons Lake, NY. Should be a fun time even with the impending threat of rain. This will be the softest camping trip I've been on since I was likely 13 or 14, so I'm surprisingly ok with the fact that I'm living out of a cooler for food all weekend.

Cheers!

I've done a lot of camping in the past two years. 3 days in minus 17 degree weather, last winter, 0 degree weather this winter too. Did some camping in a ghost town in Tahawus NY thats being rezoned as a historical landmark (fell into the Hudson river and almost died there, it was great) and have done many stints into the Adirondacks for weekend trips. I just came from a very soft "camping" trip to my friends cabin this weekend, to do some landscaping and property cleanup.

I find it very therapeutic being out in the woods for any amount of time!

And  by June, I mean tonight, for Coldplay. Gonna be running a little late, but I don't really care too much about missing the first two acts. Some band I've never heard of, and some Pete Yourne guy thats apparently popular with Tweens, because my sisters have heard of him. Plus the shows I've been to have never started on time, and you have to love set up and take down times for the bands. I hope I have a blast!

Thinking about picking up some tickets for Coldplay when they're at SPAC here in June. Also considering tickets to see Eddie Vedders solo tour, as it starts here in Albany.

Speaking of Coldplay concerts, they're offering a free live album up for download on their site: http://lrlrl.coldplay.com/leftright.php I gave it a listen, and they sound great live. I hope they sound just as good if I wind up attending.

Somebody asked for links, so in true fashion of myself, I'll post them, now that they're no longer relevant.

So.  It looks like Sun, Frank, Locke, Ben and the plane crashed on the Island in the "present".

I'm personally having a tough time remembering "when" everyone is, but why do assume that the plane crashed in the present versus the past?  Ben's crew doesn't seem to have run into anyone yet, have they?

Just playing a hunch.  Jack, Kate and Hurley disappeared from the plane before the crash which leads me to believe that they're in another time.

Not to mention the hispanic and span Dharma Van, and neatly pressed uniform.
