Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Does this guy disturb anyone else here?

****, I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this topic.  I really hate this guy and would enjoy kicking him squarely in the nuts with some size 12 steel toes on.  They are still playing the commercials and the frigging place isn't even open right now.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: TSC Recent Purchases

Sounds like the Geo wave is showing up at a few Targets on the west coast...and I thought I spent a lot of money last year.  I may wind up spending twice as much at this pace.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Saga 2006 Figure Release List
« on: February 5, 2006, 11:02 PM »

The last column is the expected release date. If you look under the category of Exclusive & Special you see that there is an extra for a Silver Yoda on Black Card-back, a TRU exclusive and the release date was 4/2005. Well a TRU exclusive Yoda DID come out this year, only it was a hologram Yoda on a ROTS card. So until you hear confirmation of one of these rumors, I would assume they are just that - rumors.

Silver Yoda is supposed to be the Comic Con Exclusive this year.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: When will the ROTS clearances start?

I picked up a ROTS #3 Yoda for 65 cents at Target this morning, didn't need it, but for 65 cents I couldn't pass it up.

That's awesome, congratulations & welcome to the Darkside of the Force. ;D

It never mattered to us if it was a boy or girl, as long as the baby was healthy and now we have a 10 year old self proclaimed Princess and self appointed 4 year old Sith Lord.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS Worst

That red Palpatine was definitely the big let down for me, it must just be too much to ask for Hasbro to make a decent Palpatine or Emperor figure.

Those spin attack figures suck as a collector, but the kids like making the figures fling around the room, so in essence they did what they were designed to do.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: "Evolutions" assortment...

Sorry to hear, but it happened with my Sandtrooper.

Very frustrating.

Kevin

Yep, made the same mistake myself, snapped it off right at the elbow.

I just leave them standing there in posed position anyway, so no big deal to me.  I just glued the sucker into place and made sure to twist the elbows around on the rest to loosen the joints up before making the same mistake again.

I just noticed you only show 4 ATRT drivers, I got 4 more if you need some?

Hey, thanks for the offer, I actually have more, just had not opened and displayed them when I took that picture.

I just completed a new section of shelves in preparation for the openeing of more figures, plus I wouldn't mind picking up some of those new Utapau Orange Clones that are starting to show up on the pegs.

I had to move my AOTC Clones off of the main shelf as my ROTS army continues to grow.  I don't know what it is about these E3 Clones that I like so much, just wish they had more on screen time in the movie.

Star Wars Action Figures / Tac Ops Commander

I am having way too much fun making these Cody style visors for some EU commanders...anyway this one is almost complete, just need to rough him up a bit for more of a weathered look.

I really like those blue ARC's and Kashyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyk Clone, but the A'Sharad Hett is pretty damn cool, it has that "gonna kick your Sith ass" look to the figure!

Collections / Re: Glass Display Cases- Show 'Em If Ya Got 'Em!
« on: February 3, 2006, 11:15 PM »
Yep, the old collection looks pretty damn nice behind glass and that is one big friggin case you have there.  I am still kicking myself for not buying the 8' glass cases from the KB that closed by me....so here's hoping they will close the crappy TRU here and I can buy their huge video game glass case. ;D

Looks nice with the lights.  I have to re-do mine since my recessed lighting heats up & after reading about yours, will have to check into these cool burning ones.

I'm in awe of your collection.  My wife would kill me.  However, I know if things get bad I can always show her your collection and say what I could be like  ;)

Thanks for sharing these!!

I just did that and she said, " If you ever....I'll kill ya!"

I probably shouldn't tell you guys then that my collection is in our bedroom, my wife has no choice, she is now surrounded with Star Wars.  It does help though that she is a Star Wars fan, not a fanatic, but a fan and tolerant of my collection, plus I am the bread winner, so that helps too.

You are fastly approaching that Army of the Dead.

Looks pretty damn good to me.  Any plans for a 12" version of a skeleton Clone?
