Yah, I must admit- that's pretty funny.

This is a tough one for me. While I think Sergent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and Dark Side of the Moon are arguabley the most important Albums of all time, I have to go with one of three that personally have changed my life in the way that I listen to and appreciate music.

And that winner is:

1- Dancing on a Volcano
2- Entangled
3- Squonk
4- Mad Man Moom
5- Robbery Assult and Battery
6- Ripples
7- A Trick of the Tail
8- Los Endos

The other two albums are:

V, by Spock's Beard and Head, by the Monkees

Heh, heh.  I'll never forget the reaction from my girlfriend at the time (and wifey now) when I played "Closer" for her.

By the way, I suddenly understand your username, ruiner.   :)

Horrible pick, Darth Anton.   :P

I could never name a favorite, but I'll narrow it down to three:

Tool - Lateralus

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway

Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage

You guys are all wrong.

Every album by The Kinks is better than any other album ever recorded by anyone, anywhere.  ;D

Not even mentioned yet...

Def Leppard -  Hysteria.

I'm on my third or fouth copy of it and it still, in my opinion, is just as good as it was back in the day.

Corman

There is nothing to read all the way down here.  If I had something else to say, I'd a said it in my post.  You may proceed to the next post.

A single album is tough.  I'd go with

Pink Floyd - The Wall

or

Led Zeppelin II
Minivans: a sign of the apocalypse.
