Sorry for the crappy pics, but I thought you guys might like to see this one. Man it's really nice up close once the smile has been wiped of his face!

Did you change up the paint on his legs, or did you just attach VOTC Luke legs to the 30AC Luke upper legs? I'm curious because I've considered this custom myself...
Does the head swap work cleanly, or do you need to mod the ball/socket joints at all?

Looks easy and came out perfectly.

Better than the stupid look he had on his face. Better hair too.

It's all just boil and pop with two exceptions. I had to crack open the VOTC torso to get the legs off, and I superglued a tiny piece of a flexible fabric Band-Aid to the top of the neck ball in order to get a tighter fit of the head.

I dig the figure... I thought maybe you just took the VOTC's lower legs and attached them to the upper legs of the 30AC Luke then but I guess it was a full transplant... The figure looks 10x better. I keep waiting for Hasbro to do one, definitive, perfect SA Luke in his tatooine duds.

What a great idea and a nice custom! I wish Hasbro's Tatooine Luke's would look more like that... :P

You know, I'm a BIG fan of softgoods when they're done correctly. And the custom Tatooine Luke that I created sometime back uses the cloth tunic. I'm quite happy with my custom.
But I've got to say THIS custom Tatooine Luke really made me stand up and take notice! This is a simple, but BEAITIFULLY executed figure. I love the stance. I love the overall look of the figure. The proportions are PERFECT. And the face sculpt works VERY VERY nicely with this custom.
Congratulations on this GORGEOUS custom figure! Very, very well done!

I've always hated cloth on figures until I learned on this site that if you wet it and let it sit dry it looks awesome.
