I had Mich Amber Bock for the first time this weekend and really liked it. I'll definitely keep an eye out for it in the future:

Right now, I'm still working on that cheap stuff:

I like Amber Bock as well if I'm looking for a cheap good beer in a dive somewhere (they usually have it)

It's St. Patrick's Day, so what better way to celebrate the life and death of the patron saint of Ireland than by drinking a ****load of beer?

I'm headed to an Irish beer-tasting event here at 1 PM, followed by a gathering of family members, most of whom are of Irish descent. We're going to sit around a long table and make fun of each other, again while drinking. After that, it will likely be a smaller gathering of people, staying up until 2 AM drinking some Guinness Extra Stout, since that's what everyone is supposed to bring to this thing.

You know it's going to be a good holiday when you don't know where you're going to sleep for the night.  ;D

Sounds like Easter at my house, every year.

Note to self: this is the last time I buy liquor based on price alone. Just because I'm a college student doesn't mean I can't be civilized.

"Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity."

At present I can't discern the honey, but darned if I can't taste the cherries. Light and very refreshing, without being weak or watery. Definitely hits the spot.
