Title: What's the figure you hate the most?

There were so many POTF2 figures created, that it's pretty hard to tell which one I hated the most.  Here's a list of the ones I thought were pretty crappy...

What about Momaw Nadon? How exaggerated can a figure get? Looks like the Hulk and packing enough fire power to take out the Death Star...

Well most of the 95 line will get my vote for poor figs but buff versions are the worst.

Hmmm,

Well that's a tough one...

Let me think about it for a minute...

Hmmm, hold on.  I've almost decided....

Oh yeah, I hate the Rebel Fleet Trooper.  But not only do I hate the POTF2 abomination of a figure, which it most CERTAINLY was an abomination of a figure...  I also feel the POTJ figure still sucks the sweat from a dead man. :)

That first POTF2 Fleet Trooper was laughable though.  I honestly still don't realize what they were using as referance material to sculpt it.  The boots were wrong, the pants were wrong in style AND color, the shirt was wrong...  Just bleh.  Unfortunately, their resculpt didn't get their 100% best effort either, though it was a noticeable improvement.

Then again, how could it NOT have been?

Last I heard, she hadn't actually kicked the bucket just yet...   :P   :-*  But I'm sure she was rolling around wherever she was at the time, at least!   :D

But I agree - that was definitely the worst figure of the POTF2 line, bar none!

I will go with Mon Mothma.  Although I am grateful they actually made a figure of her.  I don't want a resculpt.  She'll do but it's a craptacular figure.

I vote for Lobot. I don't remember him breaking into a dance that would require the figure to be posed that way. I'm jonesin' for a resculpt, but since even main characters can't make it to retail these days, I doubt it'll happen.

Well, all of the main characters that came out in the first wave on steroids are horrible.  

The monkey face leia that accompanied the steroid junkees was the worst one.  

I agree about Momaw Nadon's weapon, it's dumb.  Especially if you read Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina or the Guide to Alien Species, you'd know that the hammerheads (Ithorians) are pacifists.  He should have been packaged with a potted plant instead.  But the figure itself is okay.  It's got a nice head sculpt.  And I used the head and hands of a couple hammerheads on a Lott Dodd torso to make generic Ithorian senators.

Any of them that had molded, oversized capes, i.e. Lando. Oh, and "Mega Thighs" Vader from the buff line.

I don't think the sculpt of R5-D4 was that bad.  It was a pretty good sculpt with some good detailing in my oppinion.  The reason he sucks is because they had to enlarge him to add that stupid rocket feature, and fo course make him split in half.

Monkey Leia is easily the worst.

The buff luke skywalker tatooine.I didnt get into collecting until they started making the figures a little more realistic.

i'll have to jump on that "monkey faced leia" bandwagon, because it is without a doubt the worst figure ever, followed closely by the face sculpt of the "oops, i crapped my pants" anakin that came with the speeder bike  ;D

I forget his name cause this figure is SOOO forgettable, that stupid droid that comes with the wooden log or whatever it is, it is from the Special edition.  That figure is just stupid and a waste of plastic.

I have to go with Monkey-Faced Leia as the worst figure.  The likeness absolutely sucks.  I bet Carrie Fisher winced when she first saw it.  There is a similar thread at POTF2.com where it was mentioned that the figure looks like Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  You make the call:

R5-D4 might have been okay if they'd made him "normal" like R2-D2 rather than putting that hokey Concealed Missile Launcher in there.  I didn't care for how they sort of made stuff like this up.  They did the same in the Deluxe line with Boba Fett, Han Solo, Stormtrooper...  A license to make Star Wars toys is not a license to just start making things up and slapping the Star Wars name on it.

The "buff" look was pretty dumb, and it took them a while to finally give it up, but you have to remember that at the time this was a brand new line of toys and they were trying to capitalize on the popularity of things like Power Rangers and Spawn.  I think they were going for a comic book feel to the line...

I think your thinking of the ASP-7 Droid?

I hate: Bib Fortuna, Hammerhead, Roided up Lando with Rock Hard Abs, I guess they had a gym on Bespin.  Never understood why the 95 line was all buff, except for Yoda and Obi-Wan, hmmm....

I actually really like ASP-7.

As a heavily used droid supposedly, I've got a small army of these.  Some cheapy customed up, and others just used as laborers at Rebel bases or IMperial factories.

I thought it's one of the more accurate and "neat" figures.  Good articulation actually and they can even look damaged missing the face plate. :)

I love it.

It's a toss up between Monkey Leia and R5D4.  They really need to give us a new R5.  It's not like they can't throw a new head on an exisiting R2 body.

Lak Sivrak, only because the sculpt is bad, we'll never get another and he was replaced in ANH by Ketwol... which I could go either way on but I usually don't like anything to be removed.

Yeah, there were a lot of stinkers, and they really stick out now that were getting the great work we have now. Worst for me?

I Gotta be honest about this...since it had been so many years(..what 12 or 13?) since SW ANH came out I really didn't pay much attention to the figs. No doubt they were 'bigger' than my original classics but at this point I probably dismissed it as Hasbro's current capability. Now a days however with real face scans, more accurate moldings- I will attest that the POTF2 'buff' line really suck..even old ben kenobi looks buff!?rebel trooper,vader,luke,han,chewie,lando..even greedo -they all look ridiculous like they been hittin' the 'roids.

I would have to say my most hated wasn't a particular figure but instead a line in POTF. . The POTF2 deluxe figures line. I hated this line so much that my brother and I still don't pursue them! Why they didnt name it the EU deluxe line or something similar is beyond me. What? were they thinking >:(.....you have stupid, oversized jetpacks, gun turrets, armor suits and other things that look ridiculous IMO-left me often saying" where was that in the films?"  this line followed closely by the Battlestations line ******* suck

Oh God those were horrible… the bodies looked like the generic figures you see hanging in the aisles at the grocery store. Huge upper body spindly legs. Lame.

Come to think of it , they look like Joe Swanson from "Family Guy" but without the wheelchair

Come to think about it the FF weequay is probably most hated because I never 'naturally' got one and it's so damned expensive- when you only need 5 total figs from all potf2 types- I know this one is gonna be an ass sore >:(
