Title: RE - #5 Deception Special Edition Photonovel
Post by: CHEWIE on May 21, 2005, 10:44 PM
DECEPTION

It is a period of political unrest.  Terrorist attacks throughout the
Outer Rim territories have spread the security forces of the
Republic across the galaxy.

Hoping to convince the Senate of a connection between the terrorists
and the Trade Federation, Finis Valorum has secretly dispatched an
investigation team to the recently destroyed planet of Abridon.
Certain of foul play by the Federation, Peace Officer Rykrof Enloe
has joined the secretive operation.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the ever growing Separatists prepare
for their next move in their bid to bring down the Galactic Republic…

That's it for the Special Editions!  I did very little new stuff on this one, just a few tweaks here and there.  Thoughts?

Chewie, I like it! I can't tell much difference from the regular version, but it's still good either way.

Hey fly, good to see you found your way here.   :)

You are right, this one has probably the least amount of changes in it compared to the other "special editions."  Mainly just cleaned up the pictures in a few areas, added in some rubble from the destruction of the city, and added in the planetary pictures.

Hey CHEWIE, I've been trying to get caught up on your Photonovels for the past couple of days, but I none of the pictures seem to load when I open this thread.  Is it my computer or are the pictures down?  ???

It's not you, it's me!  My hosting service got maxed out, and in order to post #11 - Siege on Rhen Var, I had to delete them (but Dan Curto says that all 11 of them will be up on his site in July...).

Sorry...  :-\

No prob man, I should have finished them up before you posted #11.  I'll check 'em out on Custom Alliance in a couple weeks I guess.  :'(   :P

WOW!  Awesome job CHEWIE, I'm happy to be picking this series up again  :D

I like the subtleties of the story - the soldier casually remarking that the Republic needs a standing army, and the way that Palpatine manipulates Valorum's thoughts on the connection between the Trade Federation and the Separatists.
The scenery (espcially Tatooine and the Geonosis interior) is very cool.  Instead of using a blue sky background for Tatooine though, I think a desert horizon landscape might have been more effective.  Still, the story and photos are very engrossing!
I can't wait to get caught up  ;)

Good advice on the background.  Now that my tecnical skills are improving, I think that future shots like that will look much better.   ;)
