-14°C right now & going to -20°C overnight with snow tomorrow. Yep, more ******* up the roads. Staying cooler till Monday.  >:(

See that's the beauty of -40 and below.  It can't snow because the air is too dry.  It's pretty wild watching snowbanks shrink because the moisture is being sucked out of them. 

Another beaut tomorrow, -44 C windchill.  Boo-yah. 8)

That reminds me of my time in Alaska Brent.

The weather here in Co has been a bit warmer, so the snow's starting to melt.  I actually see pavement on parts of my street.  :o

Snow expected in the 4-12 inch range with 20-25 mph winds right now in Chicago.  Oh how I love the Midwest in winter...

So here I am at Newark Int'l waiting on my flight.  I was initially supposed to go from here to Chicago, then to KC (home).  Weather caused a change in plans, and my flight was changed to a 2:35 to Dulles, then on to KC at 5:58.

It's 2:28, and I've seen my flight go to 3:20, to 4:20, and now off the map completely.  I hear there are a couple of inches of ice in Washington.  But at home in KC we got around 3" and the roads are now perfectly clear.   ::)

**** travelling, **** airplanes, and **** Mother Nature.

 :P 5" of snow this morning then 1/2 of freezing rain then 2"-4'" of snow by morning :P Then freezing cold.

Been a week since my last report. It's been cool here, not Brent cool but cool. Wind is picking up, sitting at clear skies -20°C or -29°C with that wind. Tomorrow -10°C & getting better during the week. Were looking at highs for 2 days of 0°C & a balmy 3°C on Saturday & temps above zero thus far till we go back into a deep freeze again.  >:(

It can actually warm up?  I'm no longer familiar with that concept. 

Actually, if you drop the wind out of the equation, it was positively balmy today, cresting 0 F for the first time in almost a month.  It's still freaking ass cold in the mornings though, -35 C without the wind, so brrrrfrickinrrrrr.

Boy what a difference a day makes, rather warm this morning for the drive to work. 3°C & the forecast for a night time low of -3°C plus a few flurries for tonight followed by freezing rain then light snow. 3°C again for tomorrow. Roads should be fun in the morn.  :-\

The weather is great today in LA.  I got to spend part of the day outside and loved the 80+ degree weather where I'm at.   :)
