Well we have 3 Video Game threads here at least.  I'll let Colman figure out how to merge them...anyway

Do we really need to merge the threads?  Yeah, they're all about video games, but I think that they're different enough to remain open.

After all--we have separate threads for Guns N' Roses and Pearl Jam (rock bands, both), and even two separate threads for hotties--one for the top 5 493, and one for the sci-fi kind.

It's not like this place is so busy that it can't handle a few specific threads covering different products and eras from an incredibly huge topic.

ANd when exactly is the Mega Man disc coming out????

Summer.  That's all that can be nailed down as of today.  It's been delayed several times.  It'll be cool whenever it does come out, though. . .

Colman is one who tends to do the merging around here.  I agree that stuff can remain open and separate.  Its just a little akward talking about new games in a thread about Vintage game, is all

Well, it's not like we're talking about new-new games like Halo 2 or the new Zelda game in this thread.

Sure, these things like the Jakks 10-in-1 joystick, and the Midway and Mega Man compilations, those are "new" products, but the games themselves are ten or more years old.

Don't make me continue my tragic story from before, Pearson, because I'm just itching. . .

I think we all caught that earlier today under your new avatar.

Thank you.

Well, I resurrected my old Nester NES emulator for Dreamcast today, with ROMS of basically all released games on it, and a decent interface. I'm going to revamp it today and clean things up, put it in a nice DVD case with custom cover, and play Contra.

Anyone still have their Dreamcast out and in operation and interested in a copy?
