Cool, where can we see the pics?

 :P

They're paired with the original concept art entries, I believe on page 2 and 3.

To put it back on track, I've updated with custom pics of Jedi_Field_Commander's Special Ops Trooper custom, as well as Sioul_Fett's Clone Sniper custom (from the RS boards).

I'm pretty sure that's what he means, refererring to the face of the helmet mostly.

Do you post these in the art section ever?  They seem to be more of art than figure customs (great art though).

 :P

Yeah, I guess it's strayed from the initial idea :P...

IMHO, I don't like it. I don't like the long look of it. I know that is what you are going for here but it just reminds me of joke, a horse walks into a bar and the bartender says why the long face?

Could you be a bit more specific?  What do you mean by "long look", is it the helmet you are referring to?

Star Wars Action Figures / Stormtrooper V2

Someone working on a fanfilm requested a V2 Stormtrooper.  Not sure exactly where that project is headed now, but I thought it would be a fun thing to do.

Hey!  I actually saw it at the RS forums.... awesome work!!  Take some pics under artifical light, like a lamp or something, so the details really pop-out...

Complete Jedi Council set (all pieces)
Final 12" ROTS figures
Just about anything new!

Do-able.   :-[ :P

Very nice work JubJub.  So after having your drawing tablet for a few weeks, would you buy the same one?  Or would you get a different one?

B

Well, this is my first experience with one, so I can't really say much about other types of tablets.  I guess if I had a bigger screen, I would possibly like a larger version, but I don't, so it doesn't really matter.

Jub Jub,

If Dark Horse doesn't pan out, I know a lot of people at Tokyopop, and an editor at Marvel. I'd be happy to pass you some info.

You guys think this helmet might be more feminine?  I was going for a "bird like" look.

The artwork is fantastic and the picture looks great.  But I just do not like the idea of a clone trooper with a C sized rack on a battlefield.  I just can't come to grips with that.

Are you kidding?  Do you know how much faster the Galaxy would be subdued?  :o

Nice work "JugJug."   :P

Hey, which Wacom tablet did you get,  where from, and how much?  If you don't mind me asking.

B

Hey!  It's a INTUOS 3 w/ a 4x5 working surface.  Sounds small, but that's all you need unless you have a large screen to work with.  I got it from a store called Fry's, but I would expect most computer stores would carry it.  Wasn't cheap, it was around 250., but it's for work and saves money in the long run.  Previously, I used design markers which would run around 2. to 3. apiece.  I know EBAY has a bunch of auctions for some used or new ones.
