I am wondering who everyone's favorite character(s) is/are from the prequels.
Mine would have to be, in no particular order.
1. Darth Maul
2. Young Obi-wan
3. Jango Fett
4. Mace Windu
5. Qui-gon Jinn
-
Darth Maul.
Jango Fett.
Count Dooku.
Watto.
Yoda.
Padmé.
-
Watto
Sebulba
Yoda
Palpatine
Ben Quadrineros
-
1. Plo Koon
2. Yoda
3. Jango Fett
4. Watto
5. ...ah, what the heck-Coleman Trebor :)
-
What is the deal with Coleman Trebor?! He was killed within a minute of being on screen. He looks cool but that's about it. He had the chance to end the war before it even got started and he failed. I don't see what all the fuss is about. He will never have the cult status that Boba Fett had after ESB. ;)
-
Oh, you were joking! I'm a little slow. ;) :D
-
Not really. ;)
-
You better be joking... ;D
Coleman Trebor. He rules 10x more than any of the others...
-
How do you figure? He gets killed in seconds. There are quite a few Jedi who survive the arena battle, and he isn't one of them. Obviously they rule more than he does.
-
Mine are:
Padme
Darth Maul
Plo Koon
Jango Fett
Yoda
-
Lets see
Jango Fett
Dooku

My faves (in no particular order) are;

Watto
Jango
All the non human Jedi like Pablo Jill, Coleman Trebor etc. just for looks
Darth Guttersnipe;
He will appear in Episode 3, he is Sidious's hidden master who tracks down and kills all the Jedi and then that little scrawny upstart Vader comes along and takes all the credit >:(
-
Lets see.
I would have to say some of my favorites are
Obi-wan
I like seeing more of Yoda
I like alot of the new charicters but I really like seeing all of the new settings and the larger battlea are pretty good. The chase and cantina area in ATOC was nice to see as it adds a larger scope to the people.

I have to say that the best characters in the movie are Obi-Wan and Palpatine. I just like the fact that we get to see more background and depth to these characters than we did with the original characters. I like Anakin too, I just didn't like the actor that played him in Attack of the Clones, and I didn't like the way Lucas gets Amidala to fall for him. It just didn't make alot of sence(did I spell that right?).

You know, after watching the latest web doc for Episode III, I think one of the characters from the prequels that I really enjoy is Obi-Wan Kenobi. I really think that Ewan McGregor was an excellent casting choice for that role, and he has made Obi-Wan one of my favorite characters overall.
As far as other characters, I tend to favor ones that appeared in the OT as well (Obi-Wan, Yoda, droids, soon to be Chewbacca), but there are also some cool original characters in the PT as well. Many of the Jedi (Plo Koon, Kit Fisto) as well as Padme, Dooku, Jango, and the Episode III baddie (I'll leave the name out here, just in case) are all neat as well.

In this order:
1. Count Dooku- mainly because Christopher Lee is an outstanding actor, who I’ve admired since discovering Hammer films. It was disappointing to see him liquidated so quickly and in such a predictable fashion.
2. Darth Maul- as much as TMP blew, Maul was the closest thing to a good villain the prequels possessed, a good mix of Boba Fett (pre-prequels) mystique and Vader’s powerful, dark mastery of the force. The duel against the two Jedi was arguably the best lightsabre ballet of the three movies.
3. Obi Wan- Ewan McGregor delivered a surprisingly convincing interpretation of Alec Guinness’s memorable role.
