And the greatest part is they put out 3 or 4 versions of that piece of **** so far and every single one of them is an underscaled midget.

Vague thread-title gets a vague answer:

"Yes"

Right, so at any rate, Commander Cody, Scorch, and the Utapau Grunt are all out right now.  Cody has just started being found at Target and Walmart, and Scorch and the Utapau Grunt are out right now almost everywhere.

I'm much happier with rereleased figures when they good strides are made towards making the figure more movie-accurate. This was probably the best Grievous to use, and now that he actually is painted correctly, he's a very cool figure, I think.

That Grievous figure may be painted better, but HELLO, that figure is still over an inch short.  Look at Grievous in the movie, he TOWERS over everybody...battle droids, Obi Wan, everyone.  This figure is so out of scale it's actually not even usable in dioramas.  It's still a piece of crap until they get the height right.  It should be just under 5", not 3 3/4".

WOOT!  I hit the local Target store today over lunch and BAM!  Coruscant, baby!   ;D

Nice find, it is surprising to see these still hanging on the pegs at lunchtime with an 8 AM opening.  Very lucky.

Mike Anderson and Jamal Lewis have both signed with the Ravens.  That's quite a 1-2 at RB.  Is Chester Taylor still there as well?

Picked up Greedo, Han Endor, and Luke X-Wing VOTC at Walmart this morning.  The Tusken Raider and Biker Scout were gone already, and those were the 2  I wanted the most by far.  Rest assured though, I will be checking daily for restocking.  They were $9.96 each.  They also had the remnants of the Geonosis wave including Poggle, 3P0, and Sun Fac.

I am allfor clones without a doubt but their distribution ends up short changing us.

It's all a matter of perspective though. Beleive it or not, in some areas, clones are no more popular or hard to find than any other figure.

That's true, that area is commonly referred to as "heaven".

Well, the staff is healthy.  Pavano was the big missing piece last year.  Wang is healthy too:

R. Johnson
M. Mussina
C. Pavano
S. Chacón
C. Wang
J. Wright

The Yankees are going to score a ton of runs this year as well, their batting order looks something like this:

1. Johnny Damon, CF
2. Derek Jeter, SS
3. Alex Rodriguez, 3B
4. Gary Sheffield, RF
5. Hideki Matsui, LF
6. Jason Giambi, 1B
7. Robinson Cano, 2B
8. Jorge Posada, C
9. Bernie Williams, DH

I must say, as much as I'd hate to, that this looks like the Yankees year.  With a healthy pitching staff (that's deep) and adding Damon, I really think that this could be a 100+ win year.  Plus Robinson Cano might really go ape**** this year.  That is one scary outfield the Yankees have there with Sheffield, Matsui and Damon.  Actually, the infield is scary too if Giambi is Giambi again.  Never hurt to have A-Rod either.

I'd like to wish a Happy Birthday to the greatest player to ever play the game of basketball.

Ron Artest was actually born in November.

« on: February 15, 2006, 09:21 AM »
Kind of odd that this product showing up almost beat the pics showing up.  Wouldn't it have been funny if the first we saw of these figures was not the preview photos from Toy Fair, but instead the first image being the purchased product with the receipt from Kansas?  That almost happened.

What a retarded thing this is.  I think we can all agree that these 12 figures were available in much greater quantities on the pegs than some others.  Mace Windu is one of the ROTS "Greatest figures"?  LOL.  Sure thing Hasbro.  Greatest peg warmer maybe.  Or greatest piece of crap.

Here's the 12 I'd like to see repacked:

501st clone
Red shock clone
Clone 41
Battle Droid
Preview Wookiee Warrior
AT-TE tank gunner
Red Royal Guard
Blue Senate Guard
Some brand of Anakin
Some brand of Obi Wan
Some brand of Grievous
Some brand of Vader

Luckily this is coming out at the end of the SAGA waves and I won't have any money left if all goes well anyhow  :D

I'll pass thanks.  The thing that's so appealing about the original unleashed line is that it WASN'T done in the 3 3/4" scale.

Funny, the reason I don't collect the larger Unleashed or the minis is because I'd rather stick to a 3-3/4" scale.  Variety in that line is what appeals to me, and this scale has been the bread and butter of Star Wars figures since their inception in the vintage days.

 :P

Yeah I'm sticking to 3 3/4" all the way.  I did find those mini Unleashed several times and was ULTRA tempted by those BARC Troopers.  If those were 3 3/4" scale I'd have been all over that like white on rice, fixed pose, extreme pose, 14 point articulation - whatever the case.  If CHEWIE's idea came to fruition, I'm most likely collect the line then.  But for now, a hangin' on the peg hooks they will be.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Fambaa or Hailfire Droids available again.  Seeing these EIII ships again does not interest me at all.
